The last election proves that wrong. The problem is that swing voters tend to help Republicans.

Swing voters leaned towards the GOP nominee in 2024 because there was a very unpopular sitting POTUS. Those same voters leaned towards the Dem nominee in 2020 because there was a very unpopular sitting POTUS. See how this works? 2028 will be another easy to predict POTUS election.

So why is Gavin Newsome already setting the stage to claim that the Republicans are going to “steal” the 2026 elections? Because the Dems know that they are toast in the midterms.

Just like Dems were toast in the 2018 midterms?? Had the GOP been smart enough to nominate and elect a normal POTUS, they could have set themselves up for a 10 to 15 year run of dominance in national politics against a leaderless Dem Party since Obama left office. The GOP is instead once again stuck with a very unpopular leader who will be a drag on GOP candidates running in elections through 2028. Pendulums swing quickly when close to 2/3rds of the country disapprove of the sitting POTUS.

The GOP increased their Senate majority in the 2018 midterms.

And more importantly LOST control of the House and then followed that up by losing control of The White House in 2020 to a 77 year old average politician with a history of immediate failure when running for POTUS. Ouch.

Immediate failure when running for POTUS is when a candidate seeking a party nomination terminates their campaign before or very early during the party primary election season. This happens when candidates quickly realize they don't stack up well against legitimately presidential candidates and/or something in their background is exposed that derails their campaign.

You mean our government has companies do these "secret" job searches so that they can "prove" that I don't have skills in a hostile interview. They hire all these immigration lawyers and HR specialists to make it difficult to find the jobs. This is overseen by our government and the Democrats love it and want to do that more. Really, what else are they lying about? What about recycling. Oh they were lying about recycling all along. Gas and Oil. Well LALA land is full of refineries.

You see how that works. It can happen quickly. Just go and read up on that DOJ report.

There have been others since. Like DOJ v Apple it isn't a coincicence.

This is what happened to me. Too many agenda driven lies. I think the next one to fall is green energy. They had to start including nuclear as green because green energy, as we have been defining it and funding it for a couple decades, is a complete scam.

So why are things like this, including transgenderism, sacrosanct to the Ds?

Because they are smart and humane policy directions. Republicans should try that approach.

They actually aren’t, and they are based on lies as we’ve discussed here. Which is why they remain exceedingly unpopular with the general public.

The only people concerned with it, really, are republicans that inevitably turn out to be pedos and other sex offenders.

It may be cheaper but scaling it is an issue. How many solar panels does it take to run a Tesla anyway? I grew up on a farm with solar panels and a windmill, my parents really wanted an electric car, but they couldn't make the math work. Like ten acres of solar panels. They also had one of those Prius hybrids, but they were too expensive they don't have any resale value, they went back to high efficiency ICE vehicles.

So yeah, we lived on solar and wind but there were many a day of welp I guess we'll wait until next week to do laundry. I don't think anyone in the liberal DC bubble will tolerate that. In fact the hate me for pointing it out and they would rather hire kids from China and India raised on coal burning. I try to explain to my parents, liberals really don't care about your composting toilet. I mean cudos to them they reduced their consumption and did it the right way, but no way in hades those blue blood inner city kids are going to do it, and they definitely won't be having their kids pick strawberries or turn a crank to make strawberry ice cream. They certainly won't go sit under a tree because we don't have enough solar panels to run an AC.
