+1. I agree. It’s also highly out-dated as an insult. Historically, homophobia in the U.S. has tended to be directed more at the male population. That’s not to say there was or is full acceptance of women who are lesbian or bi (or who identify elsewhere under the LGTBQIA+ umbrella). No, there is work still to be done. But that being said, in the U.S., there has just not been as much societal opposition to gay women’s relationships. In part this is due to women generally being simply more discreet in their affairs and lifestyles. Indeed, women have historically been accepted as “roommates,” without much intrigue in the U.S.; and many female roommates are simply that: plutonic roommates. But suspicion is unleashed on two or more single men who are in long term roommate situations. And this all relates back to the unfair assumption men may be engaging in anal intercourse with one another; when in fact: not every even overtly gay couple (including men married to men), necessarily engage in anal lovemaking. But even those men who do have anal intercourse with other men should never be shamed for how they love. It’s private! The state and private actors should stay out of it. This is indeed an issue the entire party should get behind (if you’ll excuse the pun). |
Women weren't spreading monkeypox everywhere either. You should look up where it was being spread before the story magically dropped out of the news. |
That's not what the 14th amendment says or means. |
Dems = The Constitution
Republicans = Monarchy i Anyone who thinks we are having elections has lost the plot. |
The GOP and proud boy gatherings? Mike Johnson’s house? Lindsay Graham’s massage parlour? Is there a monkeypox filter on Grindr? That that there is anything wrong with it, it’s 2025. Just don’t be a hypocrite about it, maga. |
First: STOP SAYING “monkeypox” !!! It’s extremely racist to say that. The correct term is mpox. |
