Nope- one family had their contract withheld for discipline-related issues

EHS doesn’t have a strong lax program, they don’t even field a JV team

Basically all freshman make varsity so that helps elevate some parents egos.

I’m sure CM is selling to mad lax and prospective mad lax families EHS is finally serious about investing into its lax offering.

Yes for $72,000 your son can be on varsity as a freshman. Come on down!

CM went to Episcopal. His oldest sons (the twins) graduated from Landon last Spring. CM youngest son is now a freshman at EHS and a few Mad Lax teammates also jumped ship (from Landon) and enrolled at EHS.

Time will tell if EHS is serious about building a program, they were dreadful last season. In one of the games I saw against Landon, the Bears were up 14-1 over the Maroon at halftime.

All things said, with Episcopal being a boarding program, top-notch facilities, financial resources, and CM connections with clubs from all around the country, Episcopal could go on a run these next few seasons if they agree to bring in the players CM pushes to the school.

too bad the other IAC can't refuse to schedule EHS. Ince recruiting their players like he did at St. Johns.

EHS had a JV program last year but didn't have enough players to field both JV and Varsity for the IAC tournament as players weren't allowed to float during it.

How many local students attend EHS? It can't be a tremendous amount for Ince to try and get.

Ince doesn't coach at EHS.

Ince is at st Stephen’s, not EHS.

Garrett is not the sharpest tool in the shed for accepting that job.

The Saints have a lot more trouble than just the boys program being in the toilet for the past few years.

I don't think the Saints have any 2026 commits on the horizon. Getting worse every year.

Meh, just like in the real world he'll look great even with moderate success as opposed to the next coach at sjc who follows up with moderate success.

Hearing the Episcopal doesn’t even have a JV football team this year. What is going on over there?

Episcopal has an identity problem.

It used to attract several families from the South who wanted their boys to receive a good education and have connections to "the Hill"

Don't think it's attracting nearly as many Southern families as it once was a decade ago.

The school has gone pretty "woke" so that certainly doesn't help its cause either.

It's also gained a bit of a "boys town" reputation.
