“Intersectionality originated in critical race studies and demonstrates a multifaceted connection between race, gender, and other systems that work together to oppress, while also allowing privilege in other areas. Intersectionality is relative because it displays how race, gender, and other components "intersect" to shape the experiences of individuals. ” - from Wiki. I thought CRT did not exist? |
And they say that CRT is only taught in law school. |
Uh, they do if they're professors and plan to work in academia. Because, you know, you have to cite other people's ideas and work if you're using it in your research. Or have the standards changed since my time? Rules for me but not for thee? |
+10 allyship points for you! Quick, write that on your log sheet |
It does not exist in K-12 schools. |
Keyword is only. Try again. |
Lol. Even NPR admitted that, OK, yeah, CRT is being taught in some K-12 schools after the AA AP course syllabus was released and it contained numerous modules from CRT authors and researchers. And any school teaching that concepts like systemic racism and white privilege exist or that racial equity is good are teaching that CRT is true. The two most common authors used to present these lessons are Ibram Kendi and Tiffany Jewel. |
You win the thread. No need to continue posting. |
Okay so it's taught in like 1% of schools. Yawn. |
We should paint that line along the Constitutional ave in DC. |
If you're disrespectful and/or ignorant enough to refer to someone as a "former Marine", you haven't given much. Every American with a pulse knows better than that. Res ipsa loquitur. |
It's more widespread than that but if we accept your # then it's being taught in 131 school districts across the US. Given that the largest districts are usually also the most progressive (like Fairfax and Montgomery Counties in the DC area), that millions of K-12 students are being indoctrinated with CRT. Thank you for agreeing with me. |
Or in Harvard Square. |
Yeah, as previously noted, I won’t lionize a non-heroic, morally bankrupt individual because he happened to once wear a uniform in service, and I certainly won’t take direction from Dollar Store patriots like you. |
NP. It is not being taught in Fairfax County. |
