The royal family understand that people want to be able to do something tangible and it’s not writing a check. It ultimately helps engender support for the institution of the monarchy. Do you honestly think Charles and Camilla really wanted to do a walkabout and hug all those people yesterday?
Lol

Tangible? Sure. Looks good on TV. Guess their charity hobbies are just that hobbies.
You are, indeed, guessing. The British people would laugh at your ignorance in disparaging the charity work of the royal family as a hobby rather than the exceptional good they do throughout the world. Since you are a silly American, you probably have heard of the British actors, Idris Elba and David Oyelowo. They received grants from the Prince Charles Trust to begin their acting careers and are among the thousands of young people throughout the Commonwealth who have been helped by the Trust That is why Idris Elba was invited to Harry and Meghan's wedding and was not a manufactured new black best friend, like Oprah.
The Prince's Trust is one of the charities Charles will likely have to pass on to another royal. Harry would have been a natural successor
had he not run off with another person who is not afraid to display her ignorance and mean streak.
