+1000 - well said! |
No -YOU have made this election about abortion. I have heard little about the topic from either candidate |
It worked in CA. |
The GOP is on the offense against:
- democracy / voting rights - women’s rights - LGBTQ+ - truth/facts Any one of those is a deal breaker for me. We don’t want any of that in VA. |
She said she doesn’t think abortion is about the woman’s body at all. How much more misogynistic could she be? Sorry, women, your bodies just don’t matter. |
Youngkin and his supporters aren't concerned about "election integrity". They believe that elections they do not win are illegitimate. To them, failure to achieve desired outcome = mass voter fraud. His supporters aren't concerned about "sexually explicit books". They object to books that do not reflect their own version of the world. As for abortion, the track record of the VA GOP and Youngkin's own comments speak for themselves. No use pretending otherwise. |
Right. Pornography is totally fine. Now, Dr Seuss . . . beyond the pale. I just can’t anymore with the hypocrisy. |
You can add: - Any version of American history that isn't confined to the white, christian perspective - Scientific knowledge - Books |
Ayala is Black, Hispanic and Lebanese. |
Politically, she is just to the right of center with very mainstre views related to business. |
Being dishonest is selectively quoting portions of a prior post, and using that to disingenuously accuse said poster of being dishonest, as you do here. |
Aren't the first words out of her mouth in her campaign ad describing herself as an "Afro-Latina"? She seems to be a complete lightweight running entirely on identity politics. What has she ever accomplished? |
