Really complicated feelings about all of this. On the one hand, obviously relieved for the WSO and their family. At the same time.... is it lost on the press and everyone chalking up a victory here that this was all preventable by not going to war with Iran?

This Hollywoodification of the Administration and its combat adventurism is unbelievable. After every clusterf it's "The Inside Story of XYZ", "The Daring Mission Into ABC Hostile Country". But at what cost? And for what?

I think the Admin. understands very acutely that no one can question this now. "Do you hate America? You're really trying to politicize a good-news story about saving a pilot?" -- Also, this all conveniently shifts the narrative in their favor.

The only reason Israel wants Iran denuclearized is so that Israel *can* make US keep attacking Iran. If Iran has nukes, the attacks would stop.
