Crime spree in Cleveland Park

Several teenagers appearing to be 14-15 years were stealing phones from a number of people in broad daylight on Conn Ave. at 6pm. The police responded quickly as multiple calls were sent in.

Yesterday I got an early dinner at WF in tenleytown and a cop was taking a statement from a a young teen/ tween girl and her father in front of the juice shop.

All I could hear was the cop asking if she ever saw the man before. I wonder if her cell phone was stolen.
