Or can anyone suggest an alternative for a crossbody bag? Does anyone have the LV speedy b 25? Pros cons? I just can’t seem to bring myself to buy a $1500 handbag. I have 2 LV small leather goods and I love them but still, I have never spent $1500 on anything except my Apple laptop

I have a speedy and I like it. The only downside is one pocket, which as a mom is a huge downside.

But, honestly, if you feel like you can’t ask your IRL friends for advice on this, I don’t think the purchase would suit you. It’s not an under the radar purchase.

I have asked my IRL friends they’re honest with me and the majority have told me to get it. Only one said no because she’s the jealous type and always competing with me

NP here. I carry a handmade leather bag I got in a small shop in La Malbaie, Quebec. It is unique and beautiful, and I paid about $150 Canadian. I wouldn't be caught dead carrying some kind of logo bag, no matter how much it cost!

i don't think any snark was meant, you asked for opinions and since we are not YOU we can only give you what our personal opinion of it is.

That said: there are several good options. I would start by looking for something leather, not made in China, and without the brand's initials all over it or a gaudy label plastered on it....unless that is the look you love. If so, by all means get the LV

I think the reason you are asking is to justify such expensive purchase. I think if you love it and going to wear a lot of it it’s avtually really worthy. LV canvas is super sturdy and nothing ruins it. I prefer it to leather. Now I wouldn’t get speedy because it’s a vintage look now. Mine is sitting in my closet. I would get neverfullor some other bag from them just not speedy.
