Should’ve never posted this question in the first place. SMH. if it’s so tacky and unattractive then what kind of bags do you people carry? Care to share? If not, then why even bother commenting

i have this

https://www.gucci.com/us/en/pr/women/womens-handbags/womens-shoulder-bags/soho-small-leather-disco-bag-p-308364A7M0G1000?position=75&listName=ProductGrid&categoryPath=Women/Womens-Handbags/Womens-Shoulder-Bags

and I get a lot of compliments, not sure why. I love it and I will buy it again. I don’t like LV bags that are not leather.

So are you careful to always make sure the logo embossed side is facing out so everyone can see it?

Visible logos are unattractive.

Everything is a brand. What’s wrong if someone wants to carry a bag with a logo?

Not everthing is/has branding. You can cover yourself in whatever logo you like. I don't have to like it.

Ok but why don’t you like it? I see this constantly where people put their noses in the air and say “oh I would never...” name me one brandless thing where do you buy your handbags? Clothes? Shoes? Doesn’t matter if it has a logo or not, most things are easily recognizable

I am a new poster. I have very little to no visible branding on my attire. The only exception is athletic shoes and a few other gym items and 1 pair of jeans with a pocket design.

It is very very easy to avoid branded items (with the exception of athletic shoes). I wear items from target to Neiman Marcus with zero branding or logos with no added effort to conceal branding.

It’s part of who I am. I was raised being told the visible logos are garish and ostentatious and have never changed my opinion. I also see heavily branded items promoted by celebrities and other people who I don’t care to emulate.

Hopefully this helps you understand why some of us do not care for logos.

In regards to your purchase, if it makes you happy and you can easily afford it, then proceed.

This is exactly why it bother me so much that people are “holier than thou” just bc others wear logos. Some wear it obviously bc they are pretentious or trying to show off. But don’t act like you’re better than me honey just bc your leggings and shirts our “branded” thank you next

Aren’t ***

I think you just proved the above posters point about the type of people who choose to carry these handbags and their horrific logos.

+1. I’m imagining someone soooo incredibly basic. So superficial with nothing else going for them except that they look pretty good if they spend all their free time and money on their hair, makeup, and clothes. Does anyone with a branded LV bag have above average intellect or any class?

i have an ivy league phd and an 99.9 percentile IQ. i own the neverfull.

Those bags are hideously ugly. And I don't like LV or labels, but I would happily carry an LV logo bag over one of these hideous soccer mom bags.

It should be an easy purchase, and since you can't bring yourself to do it, you shouldn't.
