Did Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx break up?

I read somewhere - forgot where, prob some gossip site - that Jamie cheats on her all the time. Like for years, he's gone out and been with other women and either she doesn't care and puts up with it, or they weren't that serious (until recently) and she went out with him when they were in the same city but otherwise, they weren't dating.

It seems like an odd pairing. Jamie Foxx is sharp and has such a nice sense of humor and Katie Holmes seems very humorless and not all that bright.

Jamie seems like he's not capable of a long term relationship, while Katie seems to want one. I suspect she might want to have another baby and an attempt at a normal family life.

I was going to say exactly the opposite. They’ve always seemed like a strange pairing to me because she is reserved and ladylike and he is obnoxious and loud. Never understood what she sees (or saw) in him.

Nah. The first PP had it right IMHO. He is very interesting, talented with a great range. She's like the third photocopy of every ingenue from the aughts. It's not ladylike -she's just super boring. Her biggest accomplishment was getting away from Tom Cruise by stealth. The only other thing interesting about her is the undercover relationship with Jamie for the last five years.

NP, but it was a secret for a long time because of her divorce agreement with Tom Cruise. She wasn't allowed to be seen with anyone for I think 5 years!

DP I hate when people say this because we all behave differently to different people. Maybe your friend was someone that Katie Holmes did not like? Why would she give her best self to someone like that? I personally don't know her or care about her but, seriously we aren't going to take one person's view point of a celebrity or anyone.

Nailed it, she’s a mediocre actress from a teen soap who would have no relevancy right now if it weren’t for Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx.
