Nah. The first PP had it right IMHO. He is very interesting, talented with a great range. She's like the third photocopy of every ingenue from the aughts. It's not ladylike -she's just super boring. Her biggest accomplishment was getting away from Tom Cruise by stealth. The only other thing interesting about her is the undercover relationship with Jamie for the last five years.

You really don't know anything about her - pretty harsh judgment. She seems interesting enough to me.

DP I hate when people say this because we all behave differently to different people. Maybe your friend was someone that Katie Holmes did not like? Obviously he likes her for a reason! So she must have something about her. I actually give her a lot of credit for getting out of her relationship w/ Cruise. I’ve heard such nice things about Foxx. I live not too far from him and he is apparently really friendly to everyone. I do agree it is an incredibly odd pairing.

Really curious - what about her do you find interesting? I will never forget the Parade article about her and Tom Cruise when they first got together that has since been scrubbed from the internet. Here’s a reference:

I always thought that her "getting away" from Cruise was a bunch of manufactured melodrama. It just struck me as phony baloney.

Cruise is a decent actor but he is also an idiot. How hard would it really be to "get away" from an idiot?

She had to get the kid away from Scientology. That was the challenge. Her father is a hotshot lawyer and helped fix it. I don’t have much of an opinion about her at all, but that part is a big deal.
