War with Iran

They’re close to their end of their operating life and hence it really doesn’t matter if they are getting lost as long as the pilots and wso’s are safe.

If the f15s aren’t getting used they are gonna get aged out soon

What about the other 8 aircraft lost? Maybe we should have beached a Nimitz-class carrier on the beach to rescue the pilot.

Foreigners don't understand how the US could bomb a school full of young girls. They think schools are places where children don't expect to be murdered.

So I guess the US domestic media is just going to completely ignore this.

What? It’s all over our media. Stop lying.

Multiple sources now reporting they're out of Iran. Hurray!

Yes such good news

So glad to hear this!

This is extremely good news, but at what cost? We could have lost more military in this risky endeavor.

Let’s not forget that it’s been more than 20 years since any enemy of ours have shot down a US fighter, and Iran shot down two.

We need real leadership and neither this felon, nor the drunk Fox News anchor are capable. They are threatening war crimes on Easter morning.

I think this is a good response.

I’m noticing a lot of foreigners who seem to not understand why we’d risk hundreds of lives, spend millions of dollars, and sacrifice several aircraft to rescue one guy. And the reason they don’t understand is also the reason people can’t be made American by a piece of paper.

This is such a strange take. Our government started a war and wants our men and women to die in the thousands for no reason. We dumped homeland security and counterterrorism experts making our country at greater risk of attack. Iranians hold rallies for their dead. We don’t honor our soldiers at all. We don’t even want cameras there when the dead soldiers are brought back. We are kicking seniors and children and the poor off of Medicaid which will kill thousands. Our food supply has poisonous cancerous elements in it.
We are being killed slowly by our government. We just dont realize it.

Talk about a “strange take”…

Without random bullshit, MAGA has nothing.

Except 99% of the random Twitter BS is posted by LWNJs.

A previous poster checked and said this is not real, so…

Me again with apologies . /according to NY post, Trump did send that unbelievable tweet. How can this be

DP When I saw it at first I thought it was real, and then I thought no, it has to be fake because hardly anybody was talking about it. And then all of a sudden, every single news outlet had article about it and turns out it really was true.

And replaced with what? F-35s production is way behind schedule. 2-3 years to make one f-35. This was before the latest Chinese restrictions on rare earths and industrial magnets.

We only have 500 F-35s available with maybe 80 deployed to the region. One was hit over Iran a week or so ago. So the stealth capabilities seem compromised. F-35s readiness is about 50% and for every hour flown has to preform 10 hours of maintenance. So maybe on any given day 40 are available for combat missions.

F-47 is now pushed back to the mid ‘30’s.

So the loss of any operational aircraft matter.

The Democrats cut the production of the f22 and f35 to replace this old plane the blame is in them. Also she they are upset the airman wasn't captured or found dead

When people have no rational arguments, they start calling each other names and telling each other to go to Tehran and Tel Aviv. What we need are solutions, not distractions. Going round and round just makes everyone dizzy.

LOL.

The rescue mission did have one critical failure. When U.S. forces destroyed the aircraft, they missed the most sensitive material of all. Basij militiamen combing through the wreckage have recovered a pair of red, white, and blue American underwear.

Expect a full reverse-engineering program. If we don't take immediate action, this technology transfer will cost us. We simply can't allow our cotton blends to encase the private parts of the enemy.

The media in Iran is parading the treasure trove of intelligence it collected. Underwear is only the beginning: our preferences in toothpaste, sunscreen, & preserved meats were also revealed. I regret the loss of secrets. But I gained respect for our soldiers’ dental hygiene.

Trump had 5 budget cycles to do that and he did not. Really can’t blame the Dems for stuff you do or do not do. As for the pilot I wish he was at home in his f-15 protecting the US not risking his life for another country. Obviously you feel differently.

Trump has already said the US does not need the oil from the Persian Gulf. Why are republicans sending Americans in harm’s way?

Word is there were US casualties on this mission. The US had to burn two 130s at $100 million a piece. The Iranians are showing clear proof of American aircraft wreckage. Glad you find it so funny. Would you be laughing if it was an Israeli aircraft?

Anonymous
Sounds like we lost a … billion dollars worth of aircraft in this mission? Plus untold number of casualties and wounded.
