Get ready for $200 plus barrels of oil for the next 5-7 years! Hope Israel has a plan for water. 80% of their drink water comes from 5 desalination plants. There would be no way to Israel could survive that.

Israel should have fully known and accepted the risk of losing their desalinization plants by starting a war with Iran. If not, then blame Netanyahu.

Is he even alive or is he hiding like a coward? Does anyone know if Netanyahu was spotted live in action somewhere? All of the videos and pictures released of him appear doctored.

First it was Trump that was AWOL. Now it’s Netanyahu. Who will it be next?

Jesus would be so proud. Happy Easter

Jesus doesn't care two hoots about this.
Christ cares about kindness. Helping those in need.
Leaders of countries not lying to the populace. Men of great wealth not raping 13 year old girls. Leaders enriching themselves by stealing from the Treasury of the country.

Multiple sources now reporting they're out of Iran. Hurray!

Yes such good news

So glad to hear this!

This is extremely good news, but at what cost? We could have lost more military in this risky endeavor.

Let’s not forget that it’s been more than 20 years since any enemy of ours have shot down a US fighter, and Iran shot down two.

We need real leadership and neither this felon, nor the drunk Fox News anchor are capable. They are threatening war crimes on Easter morning.

I think this is a good response.

I’m noticing a lot of foreigners who seem to not understand why we’d risk hundreds of lives, spend millions of dollars, and sacrifice several aircraft to rescue one guy. And the reason they don’t understand is also the reason people can’t be made American by a piece of paper.

This is such a strange take. Our government started a war and wants our men and women to die in the thousands for no reason. We dumped homeland security and counterterrorism experts making our country at greater risk of attack. Iranians hold rallies for their dead. We don’t honor our soldiers at all. We don’t even want cameras there when the dead soldiers are brought back. We are kicking seniors and children and the poor off of Medicaid which will kill thousands. Our food supply has poisonous cancerous elements in it.
We are being killed slowly by our government. We just dont realize it.

Our government is occupied by a foreign nation. None of this happens if that wasn't the case.

Can people stop posting random bullshit from Twitter? Is it so hard to stick to tweets from actual academics, journalists or government officials? There are enough nimrods in this forum already so there's no need to bring in more.

This is the stupidest response ever. What a f’ing moron. Yes continue to lose 7 aircraft plus the one shot down for one pilot. The US does not have the resources to do that. It is even more moronic to post something like this.

I’m sure you complained loudly when Biden left behind billions of dollars in military equipment for the taliban.

We left that behind for the Afghan forces to fight the Taliban, according to the deal made by Trump to end the war.

Lots of chatter about the rescue operation. Looks like we lost 4 little bird helicopters and 2 130s at a makeshift airfield in Iran. They are saying these were destroyed on the ground by US forces? The little birds are used by special forces. Two can be flown in in ready to fly configuration in one 130. In addition may have been some special forces casualties.

Looks like they flew the little birds in with 130s and at a minimum destroyed the helicopters and 130s after the operation. Must have evaced by a different means.

Here is one article on it. They are not tell a lot. Hearing a lot of different things right now.

https://www.twz.com/air/night-stalker-little-bird-helicopters-destroyed-at-forward-landing-site-in-iran
Night Stalker AH-6 Little Bird Helicopters Destroyed At Forward Landing Site In Iran
At least one burned-out AH/MH-6 Little Bird can be seen in photos of the austere airfield that served as a hub for the rescue of the F-15E WSO.
New images have emerged that appear to show the destroyed special operations C-130s (MC-130Js Commando IIs) at the forward improvised airfield in Iran. The austere operating location acted as a hub (and forward arming and refueling point or FARP) for the rescue mission of the downed F-15E Weapon System Officer. You can read our latest coverage on the rescue here. It has been reported that the two C-130s were demolished in place as they were incapable of departing, with three more aircraft coming in and extracting the special operations force. Amongst this wreckage appears to be two burned-out wrecks of MH-6/AH-6 Little Birds of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, better known as the Night Stalkers.

Dam. You have to start questioning the military thinking behind this. The most likely outcome would have the pilot captured, held by the Iranians and eventually released. Add another 6(?) aircraft to the other 3(but possibly another 5 when including damaged) aircraft.

We will lose more aircraft in the war. If each rescue mission cost the US 8-12 aircraft it is not sustainable. I can not believe we did not lose US troops. We got very lucky. This will really incentivizes the Iranians to shoot down another aircraft and spring a trap on the rescue force.

Not great. Now trump will use this to make himself look good.

So the rescue of this American airman is “not good” because you hate Trump?

You really have problems if this is your reaction. Geez.

+1
Par for the course here. This is indeed, wonderful news.

So in 48 hours, we're going to be hearing about how the Iranians are begging for a deal and great progress has been made.

I rather hear that than civilian infrastructures being destroyed like hospitals, schools etc…
If Trump goes too far in bombing Iran, my fear is that China and Russia will intervene. Up to now I don't think any nation has stood up to our dear leader, but how long will they watch us punch Iran in the face. For the future of humanity, someone please 25A this maniac.

China? The same country that has massacred ethnic Uyghurs with zero complaints from the same morons now virtuously moaning about “poor Iran”?

And Russia? The same country who bombed Ukraine mercilessly?

Please. They’re not about to “intervene” on behalf of their terrorist friends in Iran.

Why do you keep repeating that Iran is a terrorist?

The Islamic Republic of Iran is absolutely a terrorist state that also sponsors terrorist proxies Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, and others. I'm sorry it distresses you to admit facts.

Okay, but what are we. Our government financially sponsored, provided weapons, and/or and trained the Contras, Taliban, Saddam Hussein’s attacks on Iran, KLA, ISIS, government coups around the world, IDF genocides, and more. Pot meets kettle when it comes to sponsoring military operations opposed to yours. I guess the USA and Iran have a lot in common.

Yes, SO much in common. /s I have to wonder if you even hear how ignorant you sound.

F15 airframes are super old

They’re close to their end of their operating life and hence it really doesn’t matter if they are getting lost as long as the pilots and wso’s are safe.

If the f15s aren’t getting used they are gonna get aged out soon

Good grief. We have conducted over 13,000 air missions and this has been the first downed aircraft. I think the fact that we were able to fly in aircraft to rescue this WISO proves we have air superiority.

Anyone who makes a statement like yours proves you know nothing about combat.

I would love to know more about this operation but it’s probably classified. How on earth did they get him? Very proud of my country.

I'm noticing a lot of foreigners not understanding why Trump sent that pilot into Iran to get shot down in the first place.

They can't understand how a parliament would support a prime minister who refuses to serve in the military, mocks his military's soldiers who survived being prisoners of war, and uses soldiers as tools to protect his rape and sex trafficking activities.

Foreigners don't seem to understand that USA has plenty of aircraft to expend because Americans withold medical care for civilians and veterans so that we can make our war profiteers billionaires.
