Huh, I remember all of you saying that impeachment would crash the economy.

The markets are predicting that this impeachment effort will be DOA when it gets to the Senate.

What will be fun, is when it reaches the Senate and McConnell decides the rules, he can make any trial as long or as short as he wants and the senators who are seeking the nomination for the presidential race will have to attend the trial even while they are in the midst of the campaign. Now that would be just like McConnell to do something like that given that he is a wily, shrewd politician.

Excellent, make it 8 months and let the public hear about trump's misdeeds every day for the duration. I love it. I am pretty sure the Senators running for president will be fine.

If he goes down for "witness intimidation" in this case, I'll be very proud of him.

The POINT of intimidation is to make the witness FEEL fear and intimidated. Duh.

And this shows Trump's consciousness of guilt. An innocent person doesn't behave this way.

She was all about the 'feels' prior to this.

Got news for you; any expert in police interrogation will tell you that an accused that does NOT come out swinging is much more suspicious then one that does.

Semantics. Is Trump wrong? Answer the question directly. Yes or no. Very simple.

Some symmetry in Trump’s friend and operative, Roger Stone being convicted of tampering with a witness before Congress on the day Trump attacks a witness testifying before Congress.

I don’t trust prediction models at this point in the game. Things are moving too fast. Every day it’s something new. Humans are unpredictable. Except for in human instinct. Trump is challenging all of those. He doesn’t promote peace, security, stability, fairness, integrity, compassion - the fuel of the worlds will. Not greed and selfish subjective desire that aggressively pursued its reward.

McConnell gets to decide which witnesses will be called ....... just like Schiff has done so far ....... but the shoe is now on the other foot. Look for Hunter Biden, the whistle blower and maybe Schiff himself.

The market's up because Kudlow was making the rounds puffing trade optimism. It has nothing to do with impeachment.

More excusing of not just bad, but illegal activity. Pathetic.

Terrific. What does Hunter Biden have to say? He was appointed to the board of a company, served on it, then rotated off. He has drug problems etc but none of that has nything to do with Trump bribing a foreign country.

Schiff claims he has never met the whistleblower and doesn't know the identity. Put him on the witness stand and he will say the same thing. So what?

The markets don't like uncertainty and if it believed that this impeachment had legs - meaning that Trump could be removed - it would react.

The markets and anyone with a brain knows Trump will be impeached. The uncertainty is in removal. Even if he is removed, Trump becomes president. GOP policies won't change. So, no.

There are sub markets that operate in different timelines for profit, and you know this. Even if small it’s substantial.

It is all intended to impact public opinion: Hunter Biden receiving huge amounts of money although he has zero qualifications to be a board member and his father was the point man for Ukraine, Schiff making up crap, Biden claiming that he did not know that his son was receiving these huge amounts of money from Burisma.

And all under oath!

What will the public reaction be ....... not the Democrats or the Republicans but the independents?
