not fake news, poor victim was intimidated or paid to disappear. ..I still believe she was raped |
In addition to what PP said above, with which I agree, I would also highlight that many who voted for Trump did so also because they thought "Clinton was going to get us in another war". Because he lies so much, he managed to get votes from both pro-war and against-war types. Anyhow, I am actually happy that Pence's appointee Mattis (who appropriately has already got into fights with pro-Russia traitor Flint) will not cozy up to Russia, Trump or no Trump. |
Okay, that's weird. Either somebody wanted a couple seconds of internet fame, or the witness bolted. |
Since he is scared for his life (from Moscow), and has good contacts in FBI and CIA (he worked with them before), I think he will make his way over here and spill all the beans. |

It's obvious Steele is some broken down failure as an MI 6 agent if he ever was really that who is playing on that reputation as public relations to get clients. He's got a two man operation, for christ sake, working out of a condo or something. The over inflated description of the services he claims to provide is like Robert Ludlum wrote it. Who is this guy, Kroll? I don't think so.
I think Steele is a failed MI6 agent who, to make a living, is a small time scammer. Every now and then he gets a "live" client who doesn't really want the truth, just wants some smear material with plausible deniability, whether it's true or false or totally fabricated doesn't matter. Nothing Steele has ever done has gotten anywhere this much attention and heat, so now he's panicked and "gone to ground." He finally scammed and scammed and scammed and now has to answer for it, and can't. The claim that he fears for his life is ludicrous. |
| I'm not going to quote the drivel posted by 15:47, but please recognize it for the complete fabrication that it is. |
The available evidence suggests exactly the opposite of what you are saying. He apparently had a very good record in MI6. He was also very important in the FIFA investigation and, as a result, established his credibility with the FBI. |

Trump met with LePen
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/global-opinions/an-existential-moment-for-the-euro-american-alliance/2017/01/05/23407646-d360-11e6-945a-76f69a399dd5_story.html?utm_term=.4e302c47e097 This is highly concerning for anyone interested in the world order that includes a European Union and our friends and allies therein. |
It's a joke. Just ignore. |
I think it's very clear that Trump supporters are not interested in any of that. What'll be interesting is the reaction of the people who held their noses and voted for Trump due to taxes or SCOTUS. Many of the former are international businesspeople already. I wonder how they will take to the dissolution of the current world order. |
That's the interesting thing for Trump. If any of it is true, Putin will dump this. Probably as a parting fuck you. |
I think this will backfire on Le Pen. The French do NOT like Trump. He's already become GWB 2.0 in their minds. |
Yes, and also with Lombardi, who is advising Trump (Bannon) and lives at Trump Tower. And now that we pay for Trump Tower security, we pay for protective services for representatives of far right Italian parties. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jan/12/marine-le-pen-donald-trump-tower-new-york |
Maybe Trump thinks he and Putin are birds of a feather, but alas, they are not. Putin has a much higher approval rating in Russia. Trump is starting out as one of, if not the most, unpopular president. Putin has decades of experience serving his country dealing with leaders from all over the world. This is all old hat to him. For all we know, Putin even puts Russia first. Maybe that's why his people like him. Trump, well, has served Trump. He's a newbie. Putin's too smart to be impressed. |
I might be missing something, but I can't see how the available evidence suggests that we give more credence to either one of these views. I haven't seen the FIFA report and I have no idea how good it was or how important it was, but the stories I've read never go beyond saying a report was produced and that the investigation, for whatever reason, caught some officials. I may be mistaken, but nothing says Steele's firm's report was especially key or even helpful. If Steele and co. were particularly adept at finding financial links in particular, that would be especially germane here. And the first poster above is absolutely right about small time scammers around these businesses. Verification is tough, so it's easier than many think to put one past folks. |
