No she is not. How Did It End is about Matty Healy. She got over Joe a long time ago. They broke up in 2022 but kept the news quiet for a while so it wouldn’t overshadow the release of Midnights and the hype about her Eras tour ticket sales that fall of ‘22.

She was never 💯 in it with Joe, always kept the door open for Matty. Which is why she wrote him all those songs while she was with Joe, all those years... End Game, Cardigan, August, Maroon, Illicit Affairs, Death By A Thousand Cuts, Cowboy Like Me, Glitch, Slut! etc. All for Matty Healy.

She wrote song about how she imagined dating him would be like, not what dating him is like.

Can anyone explain - why did she waste so much time with Joe?

I obviously don't know them but she loved him but he suffers from severe depression. She stuck by him hoping it would resolve and eventually realized she couldn't fix him and he could not fix it and it was incompatible with being a life time partner raising a family.

It's actually very sad. She loves him deeply and none of her songs about him are "angry or mad", they are all very sad.

She has definitely had some surgery but they all do so I don’t know why people care.

And I doubt Matty ghosted her. More likely he broke up with her and then she kept trying to contact him and he stopped responding at some point. That’s a break up not ghosting. It’s normal and healthy to take space and go I contact after a break up.

Her and Travis seem to be on a downswing. Not seeing much of each other or talking about each other anymore.
