| Im vegan for my own health reasons nothing moral/ animal rights. I don't care what others eat. Is this something that matters to you? Would it be a turn off in a dating profile? |
| In your case, I'd leave it off. If it was more of a moral issue, I'd include it. |
| Are you a man or a woman? |
| I think it would matter to a lot of meat eaters, for different reasons. Akin to social drinkers preferring to date other social drinkers. |
+1 |
| Include it so we know. Also include if you are a crossfire enthusiast. These two categories have sucked the life out of a few first dates of mine. Would have preferred to dodged those. |
bad autocorrect...crossFIT |
| I'd probably leave it off, but maybe you can put a lighthearted comment like "nonjudgmental vegan" or "vegan for personal health reasons," just to signal that you're open to meat eaters. |
+1 I would have no interest in dating a vegan regardless of the reason for being one. |
| Yes, you should include it. |
+2 and I eat vegan meals about half the time. |
Weird. |
| The main reason I would is that it's incredibly hard to find something to eat at many restaurants. I get that this is improving in some places, but if you are very strict about it I could see dates being a real challenge. |
| I actually had two non-starters: smokers and vegans. I totally respect someone's choice to eat vegan, but I don't want to be in a relationship with someone who has that diet. I've dated vegetarians and that was hard enough. I love to cook and share meals with loved ones. |
Sorry what I meant to add was that I would want to know that on someone's profile, it would just make things easier. |
