I share your concern.

I think Trump and Hegseth won't be able to find a (face-saving) way out. The non-catastrophic option is 25A.

Trump will fire Hogsbreath and try to find someone who can turn their mess around. Trump is making the same disastrous mistake of Viet Nam of letting civilians make the decisions. These two morons have fired so many of the senior officer class that, quite frankly, it is tantamount to treason.

This is what those of us with functioning brains knew would happen when trump was elected. I wonder if one of the reasons trump is purging his cabinet is fear of them invoking the 25th amendment.

lol no the cabinet is a bunch of cult members. No republican will question Trump. These are all the true believers and die hards happy to be in the Führerbunker as the world burns down around them. This will have to get much much worst before they think of even questioning the old fat moron.

- The Strait of Hormuz is now firmly under the control of Iran. We essentially gifted Tehran a brand new Panama/Suez canal. Iran will earn hundreds of billions from newly imposed fees.
- The Iranian regime is now more extreme than it was two months ago.
- Iran will use its more than 1000 lbs of enriched uranium and fully commit to nuclear weapons.

Hope so. It is the only think that may stop Israel from constantly attacking Iran. It could stop Israel from using nuclear weapons against Iran. Though I do not think it would even phase the Israelis. Israel would use nuclear weapons knowing 90% of Israel’s population would be killed in the exchange. They are that crazy.

Things are going to start changing this summer. Gas and food prices will be absolutely out of control, and "short term pain" will sound like a bad joke from spring. The midterms will be right around the corner, and Trump will have the complete look of a lame duck. He won't be welcome anywhere around the globe.

The Neocon wing of the Republican Party loves war.
The star player is John Bolton.

Trump was President after Obama and did nothing. This is Trump’s war. It’s Trump’s and every republican fault. 5 budgets Trump has submitted and he did nothing.

I’m sure Iran is quaking in its boots as this old man shakes his stick at them…

Either way the planes would be shot down.

Why is the US destroying civilian infrastructure in Iran like bridges, universities, pharmaceutical companies and banks?

IRGC denies involvement in attack on US embassy in Riyadh
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/liveblog/2026/4/4/iran-war-live-tehran-downs-2-us-warplanes-israel-bombs-lebanon-bridges?update=4460421

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has denied responsibility for a drone attack on the US embassy in Riyadh on March 3, claiming it was carried out by Israel.

The statement came after The Wall Street Journal published a report saying the Iranian attack was more damaging than Saudi authorities acknowledged.

The IRGC condemned the Journal’s report and claimed the attack “has absolutely nothing to do with the Iranian armed forces” and given the Israeli strategy in the region, it was “certainly carried out by Zionists”.

The statement went on to warn Muslim countries of the “Zionist regime’s sedition in the region” and said it was essential that its neighbours remain “vigilant against the American-Zionist movement’s seditious intent to destabilise and destroy the region”.

So in 48 hours, we're going to be hearing about how the Iranians are begging for a deal and great progress has been made.

I rather hear that than civilian infrastructures being destroyed like hospitals, schools etc…

Thought Trump said it was the job of NATO to open it? Looks like anyone can make a deal to use the strait if you are not bombing Iran.

Trump's posts have never felt more irrelevant. I doubt any country is paying them any attention. I'm not sure he realizes how utterly weak he's become.
