| I realized today when I stepped on the scale that I have gained 15lbs since I got married! WTF!! I have been married for 7 years and have had two kids. Weighed 125lbs when I got married and now weigh 140 (I am 5'7"). Ughhh how depressing. I need to seriously start working out and getting back into shape! |
|
Weighed 125 when I met my spouse at 18. Now, 2 kids and 19 years later, I'm somewhere around 133.
I think that's fine. I'd rather be about 130. |
| I'm one size heavier in pants and dresses (my scale is broken). I exercised a ton before having a kid, and then had an active job the first 2 years, but the combination of desk job, commute, and wanting to spend my sparse free time with my kid instead of at the gym has been awful for my waistline. |
| Yes I weigh the same. I have had 3 kids. But. I am not thin ( 5'7 and 155) so maybe it is easier? |
Haha. No, I don't.
|
| Yes but only been married 10yrs so not that big an accomplishment. Pregnant with 3rd kid so heavier now. |
| I'm about 15 lbs heavier after 18 yrs of marriage and two kids. But only about 5 lbs heavier than when I met DH -- we both lost weight before our wedding and then gained it back. oh well, I'm fine with my size. |
| Yes. Married 15 years, and 4 kids. |
Married for 22 years. Weighed 126 when we got married, weigh 136 to 139 now, so 10lbs more. My general shape doesn't look as good though= I work out but bodies start looking old no matter how much we work out. |
|
Nope.
My weight is up, and I am mature enough to skip the self-loathing. I wish you the same. |
| Yes, 150 then and 150 now. (I'm 5' 9" and size 6 or 8 depending on vanity sizing.) Married 8 years, 3 kids. Definitely things are not in the same place, though, and way more cellulite. |
| Nope. I was 105-108 when I got married. Ten years and two kids later, I'm 112. It's fine. |
| 2 kids later and yes I weigh the same. In my case it's just genetics. |
| I weigh about ten pounds more than I did on my wedding day. But I’m pretty fit at 5-7 and 135. Most people told me I was too thin when I was ten pounds lighter. |
| Wow op here ... very surprised at how many of you are similar weight as when you got married. Do you work out a lot or is it just genetics or a combination? |
