| I was 125 lbs at 5’4’’ when I got married. Wore a size 2 dress. I’m the same weight now. We’ve been married for 4.5 years. I eat healthy but don’t work out, so I think it’s genetics. We have one kid. |
| Married 4 years, I weigh the same after 2 kids (130 lbs). It wasn't easy, I really had to work the postpartum weight off. Diet and exercise, nothing mysterious. |
| Married 12 years with 2 kids. Weighed 102 when I got married, I now weigh around 108. This is a healthier weight for me. |
| Why do so many women lie about their weight? The average size in the US is a 14. I don’t believe any of you. You’re either lying or anorexic. |
I am the same amount of fat I was at my wedding. 7 years and 2 kids later, I’m still the same 30lb overweight. |
I believe them. I am 5’8” and a size 14. Around my Arlington neighborhood, at our pool in the summer, at my kids’ swim lessons and at preschool I do not see many women my size. There are a few women my size and most of us are 5’8” - 5’11” with larger frames. I was anorexic in high school and the smallest my body can get is 135lb and a size 8. Shorter, smaller framed women often weigh less per inch of heigh. I believe that there are a lot of 5’1-5’4” women in Arlington that weigh 100-115. |

106 then
108 now 5’4 One kid |
This is true. One of the many reasons I live in dc is to escape the fatties in flyover states. |
Not among UMC white women in HCOL cities. |
Weighed myself this morning 120 lbs. I run and watch what I eat, so I don't need to lie |
| This thread is skewing much skinnier than the real world I see around me everyday. |

I weigh 30 lbs more... 108 to 138. 5’5.
3 kids, youngest is almost 4 and it’s all baby weight that I never lost
I should eat better and exercise more |
| I weigh less! Got married 8 years ago and was a couple pounds overweight. I've been 10 pounds less than that for a while. I started exercising a lot more not long after the wedding, took up running, etc. Husband and I ran our first 10-mile race on our first wedding anniversary! Don't have kids which certainly helps. My husband and I were both even heavier when we got engaged. |
| I've been married 15 years and have 2 kids. Was 130-ish when we got married, now 140-ish (I'm 5'8", fwiw). So I've gained about 10 lbs, but have been steady here for the past several years and am happy with my weight. |
It's self-selection just like those "what do you earn/how much have you saved" threads in the money forum. |
