NP I agree with this. However, it is absolutely within the realm of SB members' responsibility and authority to ask tough questions, guide the Superintendent, and push issues. They haven't done that, either. |
Yeah, well, Diaz-Torres had no experience, either. And no, I don't count 4 years of Teach for America - or whatever it's called - in Nevada as experience for being on the Arlington SB. Anybody could put together the agenda Mary has laid out - it's merely all the key talking points and phrases with no specific proposals or solutions. I am an undecided voter between Mary and Miranda. But at this point, if Audrey Clement were running for SB, I'd vote for her without hesitation. |
Huh. I see it as more of a turnoff for voting for HIM. Don't think an aggressive supporter should be held against the candidate. |
OMG. you people won't LET him do anything right. Be forthcoming! He's too harsh with his forthcomingness! Give the man one tiny little break! |
It’s not an aggressive supporter. He’s her campaign manager. She hired him to speak for her. |
I follow both Turner and Kadera's campaign on Facebook, and was surprised to see an SR admin screenshot (I think you guys call her lawyer lady) in a pre-debate Kadera Zoom party. I thought Kadera was distancing herself from these parent advocacy groups? Yikes. |
And, more importantly, she hasn't told him to rein it in.... |
DP. Wow, really? You have to admit that's a good point. (Not that one couldn't attempt to weasel out of it. But still, sheesh.) That said, I don't know what people are talking about even though I checked out AEM this afternoon and didn't seem to see anything weird. |

Please get some help or at least a life |
Look on the KA post on 4/27 about family selection update (no distancing). He spammed MT ads like a madman. And previously posts were very aggressive and over the top. He’s a liability. |
TT sounds like Trump. Not too much of a surprise given that he and MT's support is from APE. APE, as with other Open Up groups, is heavily Republican/DINOs. |
I love that Duran provides weekly updates to staff and parents. I would like to be back 4 days a week but am happy with him overall. I think he is thoughtful. I think letting more kids select hybrid was the right call. It was mentioned during the last meeting that while FCPS was allowing some people to go in 4 days a week they weren’t allowing virtual kids to opt in. |
Is it possible that those comments were edited out of there because I'm not seeing them. (Or I'm a doofus. Or both!) |
I stopped caring about the APE vs SR wars, but really? Wow. |
