For ... something. We'll find out more soon, I guess. Interesting how Durham is so interested in discouraging anyone from communicating with the FBI about political issues. Are we supposed to learn our lesson? |
Combined with the Sussman indictment, looks to be related to the Steele Dossier. |
Yeah, but the Sussman indictment was BS in order to slip in pontification about poor Trump. Is this charge going to be any better? |
Keep telling yourself that. |
Oh, you didn't read the indictment. |
Yeah - i don't buy that it was just innocuous hits. |
I did. It’s damning for the FBI |
LOL.
No, it is damning for Durham, who is 100% playing politics. |
I honestly can't tell from the summary in the tweet what is being alleged here. The first count doesn't specify that the statement was made to the FBI or any federal agent. The other 4 have such a convoluted explanation I can't even tell what DOJ is alleging was the false statement - that Dachenko knew the identity of the caller but told the FBI he didn't or that Dacbenko told the FBI what the anon caller told him and that information was untrue - or something else altogether. When you need a flow chart to charge what's probably the most straightforward crime on the books, it doesn't make your case look very strong. |
Not sure how it is damning to the FBI. The idea that the FBI has no idea that Sussman worked for the law firm representing Hillary and, therefore, may have been biased is NIL. |
Here’s a good description by Turley:

Turley is absolutely the wrong person to be following on this.
This whole thing is going to blow up for Durham and Horowtitz. the GOP was front facing many of the elements of this, pointing the RBI at targeted individuals - all subterfuge away from Trump's open treason. |
