No. Typical DCUM nonsense. The Argentinian Ambassador lives in Spring Valley. She has actually invited neighbors to her house later this month to benefit Mann Elem. |
She meant Guatemala. Huge gated compound at woodland and normanstone terrace. |
Wow, pretty glitzy for Guatemala! |
I have to say, you are possibly the worst armchair websleuth I have ever seen. Your theories are absurd. |
Wait so the housekeeper who was killed was employed (for lack of better word) the housekeeper who is alive? "Nelly, who didn't want her full name used, owns her own cleaning company and worked for the family for more than two decades. Nelly allowed Figueroa to work with her at the Savopoulos family's home. On Wednesday, Figueroa texted Nelly to say she wanted to work at the home, and planned to finish by 3 p.m. " |
Above I should've said "employed BY"..
Also.."Investigators believe it's likely that the killers gained access to the home Wednesday and kept the victims bound and threatened through Thursday afternoon, when Savvas Savopoulos gave them what they were looking for, sources said. " That gave me chills. |
Quoting myself..the assistant brought a delivery to the house on Thursday. That may have been what they wanted. |
I am the (admittedly) obsessed person who early on has focused on a home invasion theory. NBC4's website has an update that seems to make it clear that the police have some specific evidence that they are not sharing.
The update includes the sentence: "Investigators believe it's likely that the killers gained access to the home on Wednesday and kept the victims bound and threatened through Thursday afternoon, when Savvas Savopoulos gave them what they were looking for, sources said." To me, this suggests that they were held for that time period so that Mr. S could raise cash in some fashion, perhaps from his business. There's no way there was anything in the house that he wouldn't have given up immediately -- that's why I think the delay represents an external obstacle such as bank hours or needing to instruct employees at the business to draw on a line of credit or something similar. The update also says "it's likely that the killers had knowledge of the family and how they lived their day to day lives, sources said." I don't think the latter point is necessarily true just because there was no forced entry -- I won't do it anymore, but I admit I've opened my door to someone knocking before. However, it suggests to me that someone may have been at least tangentially familiar with the business, particularly if they knew there was a way Mr. S. could raise funds from the business. |
Maybe both housekeepers were the perps but housekeeper #2 (the alive one) killed housekeeper #1 and that wasn't part of the plan as far as housekeeper #1 knew |
wow...gave me the chills too |
I think housekeeper number 2 is in on it. |
Yes, I too focused on the assistant dropping something off at the house. Mr. S. could have said something like "everybody is home sick, so don't come in, but drop it off through the mail slot, I'm going to a job site later today and I'll need it." And just because the fire was detected at 1:30 pm doesn't mean the killers left in the afternoon -- theoretically they could have left earlier (Porsche supposedly gone after 10:30 am). I think with what's on the internet somebody could have set up a fire to start sometime later (e.g. fashion a slow fuse). Then again, maybe it took until the afternoon for Mr. S. to get a lot of cash together. Killers then kill family and leave. |
Why did they have to kill them once they got what they wanted? Horrible. |
+1. Too many coincidences with the timing, her not working just that day, lack of follow-up on the voicemail and texts that she thought were off.... |
Ok. Well it's my first attempt and I don't work as a detective. Still I think we could crowdsource some good theories. |
