What happens to Kamala’s momentum now the DNC is over?

anecdata - but i had dinner with a librarian friend in florida last night. she told me she's been struck by how many older women are coming into the library to change their party affiliation. she doesn't know what they were, or what they are changing to - but i think we can probably make some fair assumptions.

also:

again - this doesn't tell us why these women are registering in droves. but i think we can guess.

I was a newspaper boy, I worked in a hospital as a patient escort, I worked in a local radio station that one of my friend's parents worked at. I worked at a Subway and a Captain D's (southern fast foot like Long John Silver's). I also have a 37 year career in IT. I don't even put all of my 37 years of IT experience on my resume, only those jobs that are relevant to any job I am applying for. There is no way I would take up resume space for high school and college part-time jobs that have nothing to do with my career.

Thinking she is going to put high school supermarket jobs on her resume when she is 60, is absolutely ridiculous.

This is the resume they think she should have put McDonald’s on. Just incredible weaksauce.[/img]

at least we know she is squeaky clean and fully vetted if this is all the criticism we have of her outside substansive policy. no surprises. in my mind the only blemish is her pro israel stance but that is every american politician and i just pretend that they support genocide for good reason that must remain top secret.

Harris is not running on anything substantive and no particular accomplishments Hatred of Trump is the primary motivator no doubt for her voters. Do the majority of the voters in swing states have a visceral hatred for Trump? Probably not but who knows. On substance he’s a moderate but style he’s extreme to say the least and a lot of people see this. So there’s that.

You think the guy who got abortion banned in several states, staged a coup and has vowed to be a dictator on day one is “moderate” in substance. Republicans really have to go the extra mile to comfort themselves.

I’m intrigued by this on two levels: 1) the obvious good news of soaring registration. When people vote, Democrats win and 2) people can change their party affiliation at the library in Florida?

The moderate stalwarts of dignity and statesmanship Romney and McCain wouldn’t have appointed scotus judges to overturn Roe?

Especially for those of you who live in red areas, this is a very good idea.

The Harris campaign has stopped referencing her work at McDonalds. Did she tell them it was made up, or are they rope a doping Trump?

I’m the one who posted that and I wondered the same thing. I figured midway up the door would make better sense. Or on the toilet paper dispenser.
