They are all unlikeable though, weird reckless and cold bunch of entitled drunks. So it does not sway me. I think she could have done it, but it cannot be proven any more than any other theory given how little info makes sense and all the lies they are all telling.

For example it’s plausible to me Jen didn’t think straight so did not ask her BIL to come do CPR, but it’s clearly a lie when she tells KR’s attorney she now cannot tell him if anyone on the street knew CPR. She knows her BIL at least, plus likely the guy across the street who is a retired cop. She was trying not to look bad but proved she lies on the stand. So what else did she lie about?

While I agree that They all have that offputtingMassachusetts personality, sort ofcold and terse, that’s not exactly what I mean with her. If you watch her Netflix “documentary“, she comes off almost as amused while she tells the story. She smiles at inappropriate times when talking about the death of her boyfriend. Even when talking about the children, she doesn’t really seem to be remorseful for what they’re going through. It’s just like a story She’s blurting out and is gossiping about. You can see her eyes light up when she talks about it. Very strange.

I don’t think she did any of this on purpose. But there’s something very off with her.

I think it has become a story and a bit abstract after recounting it 1000 times. She clearly was very upset the day of. And why should she feel remorseful if she did not do it?

Yes, that is likely part of it but one thing that doesn’t sit right with me is how she continues to call him by his first and last name. How many people do you know who have a strong emotional connection to someone and call them by their first and last name as if there’s some distant public figure? This is why I think she has some sort of personality disorder and or she’s disassociating herself from him as a human.

I grew up with one and know one know who everyone calls by first and last. Your assessment is meaningless.

It happens a lot with men named John because it’s such a common first name.

Not ones you’re in love with and have an intimate relationship with.

Good point. Calling someone by their full name has to be evidence of guilt.

I wonder what we would think if she were referring to him as “the guy.”

No one said it was evidence of guilt. They said it was evident she likely has borderline personality disorder. Part of her quirks. And things like that will sway a jury because she will not seem sympathetic/remorseful at losing a boyfriend.

I'm sure she's thinking at this point she can't believe she was so into that guy to get so emotional, leaves those voicemails, and maybe have killed him.

How one person refers to someone doesn’t give any insight into guilt or lack thereof. It isn’t really any odder than Matt McCabe referring to his wife’s very dear friend as “the guy.” N’est pas?

Paramedic testified KR said I hit him and JM tried to get her to stop talking.

Idk why they keep talking about this. A drunk hysterical woman who got no sleep drove her bf while drunk, left him a million nasty messages, so her saying that just sounds to me like she is going nuts trying to figure out what happened and that’s what her theory was at the time. I’d want to get actual evidence.

For me, it's more or less the same whether she said "I hit him" as a question or a statement. She was showing some consciousness that she possibly hit him, but probably doesn't remember for sure. It's not great for her but they still need to prove he was hit by her car.

Another witness: "I hit him, I hit him, I hit him."

How many people now? 6?

Why do they always question how the witness prepared for testimony? Is the prosecution allowed to do mock testimony with them? I know they can't tell them what to say but are they not allowed to discuss the testimony and what would be asked and how detailed their answers need to be?

Idk, I see it more like anxiety and panic and the fact she last saw him while she was driving the car, plus the tail light. But her attorneys are doing a poor job imo, no clear questioning and wrong focus. No need to nitpick the paramedic who heard what she heard.

Yeah, she said it. Now let's move on. I thought Nagel, his ex girlfriend and the other young woman (forget her name) were actually more compelling when it came to KR possibly not having hit him.

Wow, Jen tried to get Karen to stop incriminating herself according to this witness.

Anxious to discredit that too huh?

Jackson's angry and ridiculous arm-flailing animation is not going to win here. He's doing terrible.

No, I think we know she said it. I disagree it's proof she did it.

He is. In a small town like this of course paramedics might know family members of victims. I really don't like what he is doing. This is someone who randomly was there that night doing her difficult job. I like that she is pushing back and not taking his shit.

And yet no one wrote it down at the time or, you know, arrested her?
