JFC nobody is going to is going to "LET IT GO" when he is still collecting a paycheck and MCPS is protecting countless others like him.

Exactly! How about we give everyone that worked under him paid leave during the investigation? Why is the system designed to protect the offenders and not the victims?

The man gave up his right of privacy when he committed these acts AND also responded to the allegations in the article.

oh please! That doesn’t mean you drag him all over social media for his kids to be humiliated. Social media gives less attention to pedophiles, murderers, and rapist.

And so the excuse-making continues. No wonder the guy allegedly got away with harassing colleagues and bad-mouthing kids so long.

So find a new job. These aren’t children we are talking about here. Let it go people. The witch hunt is over. Imagine if all the wrong you did was made public for your children to see. What goes around comes around.

Stop pretending like the wrong he did is normal everyday stuff that we all regularly see on the job. Besides, more than half the stuff you see on the media is blasting MCPS for sweeping his despicable behavior under the rug and then promoting him.

This man is being publicly humiliated for the same actions millions of men in leadership have done. Is it right? NO
It isn’t about making it go away, it’s about stop the public shaming and let justice take its course. So what makes it ok for the media to run this story in the ground and blast him all over media for his children to be humiliated, degraded and embarrassed. Give the same attention to murderers and pedophiles.

You, just like MCPS administrators, are literally asking us to keep quiet just like they've been wanting the victims to for years. You do realize that if it weren't for the media, this would never have come to light.

I think everyone got their point across. LET IT GO and let the system take its course. Enough of blasting him. Go back to your life.

Take your own advice and leave this thread alone if it's bothering you. Why are you so invested in stamping out discussion about Beidleman and MCPS?

Are you a relative of his? Do you have a direct relationship with his kids? I don't get it.

No but I think it’s awful that a principal gets trashed more than murderers.

The system taking its course is what got us here.

To complain to the US Department of Education about sexual harassment of students, which is a form of sex discrimination and prohibited by law (and you don't have to be the person harmed to complain):

Murderers go to prison. Is Biedleman in prison? Is he facing any real consequences for his misconduct?

This is ridiculous. Murders aren't "trashed"? What's next, blaming this on cancel culture?

I think you're projecting and your analysis of the reaction to this very serious breach of trust with the community is misplaced and not rooted in reality.

Hopefully these ridiculous comments pretending that Joel has been treated unfairly are a sign that there’s nervousness (it’s deserved, no question!) amongst the rotten clique at MCPS.

Nope! In fact he's still collecting his $192K taxpayer funded paycheck. You should expect the continued blasting.

MCPS wants to let it go but the public won't. Between making it on national news and the tons of angry MoCo residents, sorry but no one is letting this one go.

No, WE are NOT the monsters. Let's just be clear here. And yes, he and MCPS administrators who silently allowed his behavior to continue and promoted him should be blasted all over the media. Silence is not the answer despite how much he or MCPS wants it to be.

Yes you are! He isn’t the president. He is a principal like thousands of other people. Let it go! The damage is done.

You mean did HE think of his children? This is on him. His choice to victimize dozens of adults AND hundreds of children. His family can move away. The repercussions of HIS assaults are going to last for years.

Agreed. He's just like the priests in the Catholic Church who are accused of misconduct. The actions are terrible, but the greater crime is the institution that covers for them and allows even more abuse to continue. Someone has to step up and be a real leader and protect the vulnerable.

Biedleman and his team know to simply wait out the foaming at the mouth mob. In two weeks this will be administratively resolved. Maybe (very big MAYBE) Biedleman is given a couple weeks of suspension. All staff will be required to take some sort of canned training though. He will absolutely not be fired.

Wishful thinking, Joel. You're done. And so are your friends in MCPS Administration.
