Anybody be tried this so called diet. When you eat One Meal A Day. you have to eat within 1 hour and fasting the other 23 hours. I tried one day and all I did was thinking when can I eat. And normally I eat when I feel hunger .And when I finally ate I didn’t even enjoy all I was doing is to try to fill myself since all I have 1 hour. Hey can imagine to live like that .

I believe that "diet" is called an anorexia or an eating disorder.

I don't do it, but I don't think it is an eating disorder. That said, someone with disordered eating could do a version of this

You can eat whatever you want without counting calories . PP why would you call it anarexia?

I did it back in the late 80's when I was in my 20's. Lost a lot of weight, 70 lbs. Took me 8 months. Eight months of eating just one meal a day, and downing enormous amounts of Diet Coke the rest of the day.

It worked in that I lost weight, it didn't work in that I regained 50 lbs. of it. At first it was exhilarating, I was losing weight quickly, eating anything I wanted within that hour. I could eat normal regular food. It really wasn't too hard. In the beginning. About half-way through I was grew *really* obsessed with food. I lived for that one meal and thought about it constantly. I dreamed about food. I knew it wasn't a healthy mindset but I kept forging on b/c I'd lost 50 lbs. at that point and was so close and had worked so hard. Hit my goal weight but couldn't keep it up and much of the weight came back.

But I lost it again, a lot more sensibly.

This is pretty common for folks like me, who follow a keto diet. It wasn't always this way for me (especially when I started), but as time went on and I became fat adapted, I just wasn't really that hungry. I'd say I probably eat OMAD about 3 times a week, 3 times a week I just have coffee in the morning with lunch and dinner and maybe 1x/week or every other week I have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I'm 3 months in and down 30 pounds... started at 180, now at 149 .. 5'4, 35 years old. I spent 20 years of my life obsessing about food and it's great to not be physically hungry that often anymore. It takes a while for the "habit" hunger to fade, but my life is infinitely better now. (and yes, to the crazy fruit poster out there, I do occasionally miss fruit and donuts, but not nearly as much as I like not feeling exhausted after a chinese takeout lunch!)

Before I was married and had kids, this is pretty much how I ate. I was busy, and didn’t get hungry until 2pm or so. Then I’d eat a nice meal, and I’d be full through dinner. I was a lean, healthy weight then, so it makes me wonder...

You should read up on something more before to criticize it.
Where did you read that you must eat within one hour? Intermittent Fasting can easily be done on a 16:8 or 20:4 schedule, or whatever works for you. Even if you do one meal a day, you don't *have* to eat in an hour.
If eating when you feel hungry works for you, then do that. Why do you care if others choose to do something that works for them?
