Buyers don't care about your opinion! |
This is such a strange thread but it tickles me for some reason |
Are there places nearby to go sledding? Did not see any hills nearby the community? |
Not really. Most people go to Bretton Woods. Not close but not too far either. |
. Thank you! |
For the people buying the Orchards- how much distance is between each house? |
20' from wall-to-wall. Also, to the poster that commented on the poor construction of the homes... DH is in home improvement and knows construction. He said the Toll Bros build was good compared to some of the other builders we toured. Re the comment on the bounce of the floors is the amount of rubber on the bottom of the engineered hardwood. It's waterproof and good for sound/shock absorption. Here's some info on that: https://www.rubberflooringinc.com/buyers-guide/underlayment.html |

Thank you!! 20' does not seem bad. It kind of looks a lot closer based on the quick delivery homes being built. There are these light and dark blue ribbon markings on the lot. Is the boundary from the light or dark blue ribbon? |
It's probably max=20. |

Only 1 Orchard left!! |
The TB agent, I swear, provides more regular updates here than they do to their actual customers who have put down a deposit. |
While there is some bounce due to type of flooring, the bounce you see in these homes is due more to the construction of the floor joists (distance bw) them and the lack of adequate cross bracing. Unfortunate, building code has changed over the many years to allow for this. I have seen this in the Lennar type of homes and the same homes with engineered hardwood that I’ve seen do not have this bounce. In other words, I have been in homes with EHW and don’t see any of the bounce I see in the TB homes. |
