It's a freakin' train wreck, PP. Rubbernecking train wrecks is a national sport.

It’s probably all bots.

People aren’t tuning in to anything regarding Trump anymore. He’s old and weird and his show is tired.

Yeah, I assume some people tuned in bc they are true believers, and some tuned in for the train wreck. But those numbers are heavy on the bots for sure.

I despise Trump and hope we are finally rid of him come November, but I don’t like the cockiness of the tone around his “death spiral.” I don’t know about you, but I was confident in 2016 that he was a complete disaster (which, he was) and that the election was a done deal for Hillary. While I certainly hope people are dismayed by the incompetence, chaos, and corruption of his first term, and recognize how much crazier he has gotten, I don’t think any of that it a foregone conclusion. He could still win despite being deranged, declining, out-fundraised and out-campaigned.

I don’t think there’s a Democrat who was alive and voting in 2016 who doesn’t know that Trump could win, but I think we’re allowed to discuss his shambolic campaign. I mean it seems relevant that the man is hiding, especially after he whined about Biden.

Trump does appear to be circling the drain, but he is held up by the media. Anything could happen, including a massive Trump loss and then legal end runs resulting in a Trump installation.

I listened to most of that twitter thing. My takeaway: Neat idea but Trump was boring. He said nothing new, nothing funny, and nothing interesting. It is legitimately really neat technology that millions of people can tune into a conference call interview — I knowledge that. But also what makes it so neat is that Elon and Trump could have called on random listeners to ask Trump a question. They didn’t do that last night.

Why would they? Trump only does well with softballs.

DW and I didn’t even know this interview had happened until I read about it here on DCUM.

+1

And this was pretty clearly scripted and rehearsed in an attempt to keep Trump from accidentally revealing plans or revealing truths as he tends to do when he thinks he’s being clever.

Seems we've been completely desensitized to the con man's inarticulate lying, slurring, slandering and criminal acts. But I was surprised at how inarticulate, unpersuasive and dumb Elon sounded. I mean you can at least see how it's possible that Bezos, Buffet, Gates, are gazillionaires.

He absolutely can. I hope no one is getting cocky. But we also can't deny what is before our eyes.

The man literally had notes in front of him for the entire interview.

Lovely candidate with cheese for brains and teeth and a campaign staffed by edgelords.

Wow. That’s pretty bad.

In fairness, he doesn't do well with soft balls either. Mentally, he is so deteriorated that he can't focus long enough to even complete sentences.

Guys, I think there's someone who needs to know if Trump is hiding. He's around here somewhere.
