You know if roles were reversed, the GOP would have already done it. |
It’s not an opinion, it’s a fact. Do some research. |
Budget Resolutions are not laws but that’s also not what’s being negotiated between Congress and the White House or what’s being discussed in this thread. You are responding to posts about the Omnibus which was a law. Any agreed to discretionary caps will be law (see various Bipartisan Budget laws from the last time caps were enacted and never enforced), and any appropriations under those caps will be laws. |
Do yOuR ReSEarCh |
Well I’m still waiting. What do you Republicans want to cut? Let us hear it and decide if we’re with you.
Anyone else law just exhausted by the constant unproductive whining? |
Why do they need to accept anything? They aren't the ones manufacturing this crisis. |
PP was responding to an incorrect assertion that budgets were enacted law. Budget resolutions and spending caps on appropriations are different animals. |
No, the PP was responding to someone who was using the term budget to refer to the Omnibus. The Omnibus is enacted law. |
JFC. Give it a rest. |
May I ask why you think the Republicans are manufacturing the crisis when it's just as much the Democrats manufacturing the crisis by refusing the cut spending? Remember, it takes two to tango. Politics does not mean Democrats do whatever they want and the Republicans shut up and keep quiet. At least, in theory. |
What do republicans want to cut? |
The Republicans are manufacturing a crisis by linking the debt ceiling (ie paying bills already incurred) with future spending. These are separate issues and paying our debt shouldn’t be up for debate. |
