Democrats didn't put forward the bill. Biden did. And, it was filled with money for processing and transporting migrants. The border budget has been increased significantly in the past 2 years. And, what has that gotten us? A greater surge in migrants entering. This administration has made it clear that more money means more migrants. Why would Congress give him more money when the problem has only gotten worse with more money? Republicans did put forward a bill. HR 2. Passed the House months ago. Schumer won't take a vote on it.
