Only their 2029 A team is really a club team.

By the 0-2 record and the minus 22 goal differential, it doesn't appear like the 29 A team is actually a real club team either....

They would be fine in the B division and have a few kids that may have a shot at Capital Orange in the summer.

Odds are they would be winless in B as well just not as lopsided MC not so Elite pretty much died with the 22 class.

That's sad. There were some great players to come out of that club

The great players came from a different era with different leadership and coaches.

Absolutely, the past leadership and coaches actually cared about the girls, not just the money...

The former owner/director is the person 100% responsible for the decline she caused this out of pure greed.

100% THIS!!!

The 2029s are not the worst, but they will be in trouble in HS and the recruiting years. They can't even get into tournaments like LLL. Unless you just do a bunch of showcases or prospect days...

2029s lost a close one to Bethesda Blue this past weekend.

Our daughter is on the 2027 Carolina team and although she likes the coaches, for the money we commit for the year, I'm surprised how unorganized it is. When we signed up there was no plan laid out for what we could expect month to month, just generalities, most of which never even happened. The coach shows up for most practices in the fall, but outside of that, the fall tournaments are scheduled last minute and many of the players don't commit to even showing up. I think it's a mixture of poor comms from MC Elite and lack of camaraderie amongst the girls. I have no idea what the politics are of who bought what and when. I know my daughter has improved but I'm not sure it was worth the $ and headache dealing with how unorganized they were. At her request, I won't be signing her up for next year. There really should be a better system for girls lax.

It is 100% the club they only care about your check at this point but please don't let the poor management and horrible director kill your daughters enjoyment if she likes playing seriously reach out to other clubs see if there is room for for her you should really consider any other club besides MC elite.

Back when the club was secretly getting ready for sale to TSJ, they told the 2027s to pay their registration fees a whole year in advance to get them ready for "recruiting" two years later. Maybe they had to show they had money in the bank, but it was bad. not just disorganized by untruthful.

The former owner/director is the person 100% responsible for the decline she caused this out of pure greed.

The most recent former owner inherited a great team from her predecessors and cashed out with TSJ. MCE plays in the NGLL because there is nowhere else to go. They tried to make their own league with TSJ merger, but completely failed. They can't even get into LLL because of one of their coaches.

There was no cashing out that happened and the "most recent former owner" did not "inherit" the club from her predecessors. Those of us who have been around with multiple kids playing for years can all set you straight on that. She founded the club and when she temporarily stepped away from it there were 2 women who took over running the day to day stuff but she still owned the club. Then she came back. But she was always involved and it has always been her club so it's obvious you are going on heresay, not actual knowledge. MCE was promised lots of things from TSJ that never happened. She def did not make money off of the merger. I have that on pretty good authority. And she's still working for them and coaching teams. 2. My daughter's MCE team is in LLL this summer so that's also false. We were at the original parent meeting where St James promised a new league, new trainings at their Bethesda facility, Kristen Carr as the Director who was going to be coming to practices, and more high level development, which was all a big part of the reason why MCE said they liked the merger, but TSJ didn't deliver. TSJ dropped the ball on so many things they promised. And it was all TSJ telling the parents directly what they were going to do. They can't get out of their own way which is why TSJ has run Stars into the ground as well. MCE would have been better without the merger, IMO.

Shocker... SW strikes again. She is the worst and killed Stars and killed MC. Losing Carr was a huge blow to stars. She was the hope to get it going in the right direction. Unfortunately SW couldnt stay out of the way and drove her to look elsewhere and leave for a better opportunity. Why TSJ has not gotten rid of SW after all of these years in truly mindblowing.

why is everyone acting like MC Elite had not already run into the ground before the STJ merger?
Anonymous
Oh it had. No question about it. Prob 3 years before the TSJ merger

Some of this sounds legit. Didn't make money on the merger? That makes no sense. Why would an owner merge and not make money? They should make money.
