I’m the OP. My friend told me she definitely heard multiple police and other people on the scene in the lobby speaking about their relationship as “transactional” in nature. The guy arrested was a client and she was an escort. It wasn’t domestic at all.

Maybe she was a marketing consultant advising him on the new product launch for the Procter and Gamble account.
