| Haha once I visited a fancy hotel in Los Angeles and the local hooker informed me that I was 1) not properly dressed for prostitution 2) invading her turf but she liked me ! Haha. Not a hooker myself. It was funny. |
LOL. Maybe that is an unintentional compliment! For those who pretend not to know (or really are that naive) - any upscale bar/restaurant/hotel has hookers, call them what you want, or pretend not to see them, your choice. |
There was a murder in Bethesda at the lulelemon a few years ago. That stuff doesn’t normally happen in Bethesda either. It can happen anywhere |
|
People don't generally stay at hotels in areas they live in. Even if they are using them for sex. The odds of running into someone you know are way too high. Likely neither john nor prostitute live in or around McLean. So everyone can just calm down on the Tysons/McLean angle.
Hope the woman is doing ok and that the guy gets what he deserves. |
Wanna bet?? |
Every affair takes place in a hotel just far enough away from home. Neighbor had away at the Marriott 3 miles from her own house. |
| I thought Ashley Madison was dead after that data leak. Again I don’t know that there are tons of women looking for an affair on a website. Most of the women I know are freaking tired, especially with the pandemic and would sign up much more quickly for a service that gave them a sitter and a nap. |
It’s thriving amongst 40-60 year olds. Women have limited options after 50 though. |
Often the moms whose kids have gotten older and are SAHMs and bored and dissatisfied with their lives and husbands. |
Years ago when I was younger (and cuter)---I was having drinks with a similarly aged female friend in an upscale hotel bar in DC. We figured out by the whispering of the tourist couple at a nearby table that they were wondering whether we were high-end call girls. We contemplated sending them drinks and a note reading, "Actually, we're attorneys but a lot of people think that's the same thing . . . " |
“Those women”? As compared to the men doing the exact same thing? Misogynistic POS. |
+1. But in defense of the PPs who don’t seem to understand this, I too had no idea the sheer amount of prostitution that occurs in local high end hotels (not seedy motels) until a family member started working as an assistant manager at one. Holy crap, did she open our eyes to what goes on (and this was at fancy hotels in the Tysons area, but not the Ritz specifically). |
| I used to work with a 5 star hotel. You would not believe what goes on. The doormen, room service, bartenders, housekeeping & front desk staff have all seen some crazy stuff. They would joke that the higher end location the weirder the stuff. Every type of hooker, professional, drugs, a suicide, etc |
Well the woman wasn't the one that stabbed someone, was she? So, yes, women jumping into situations---especially meeting strange men for sex!!! are more likely to suffer an assault of some kind. Often, death if you watch the news. |
I won't even run alone on a wooded trail (parents taught me that) or walk home late at night alone...meeting some stranger off the internet at a hotel or to hook up---yeah...NEVER. But, the lifestyle is pretty risky--if it's not the first coffee date they are jumping into bed by the next meet up. People give fake names and stats obviously. |
