Not saying this woman was/is an escort but here's a reality: Escorts travel. They collect clients and go to a different major city about once a month or so. THey rent a nice hotel room and entertain clients there. Because they are high-end, it's only one a night and these are dates scheduled and paid for before the board their flight. All front desk clerks know this if they've been at a particular hotel for a while.

Pros need to be protected as much as nonpros. This is capitalism. There is a market, the sell a high-end product, unhappy customers can't get stabby.

I mean, you're still talking a violent crime rate in the Tysons area of just over 1 per 1,000 residents. The DC violent crime rate is more like 1 per 100 residents (https://www.bestplaces.net/crime/zip-code/virginia/tysons_corner/22102). Of course you can identify a crazy crime almost anywhere. I lived in very safe place in the middle of nowhere and a guy I knew just randomly murdered his wife, blood all over the place, chased her out of the house and stabbed her like 100 times as she ran away. These things do happen
