a.) Trump is campaigning for a 2024 run and is trying to rally support for that run (item 4). It's funny because normally you whine claiming that CNN isn't giving him enough campaign coverage.

Media matters routinely exposes lies and controversial things from FOX News pundits and others. They provide the actual video, the tweets et cetera. For example Pew survey that showed 47% of conservatives use FOX as their primary news source whereas liberals are far more likely to use an array of media sources. For example only 13% would cite CNN as their primary news source, very much contrary to the conservative mythology/projection that liberals all get their news from CNN.
