Only OANN and Newsmax carried the Trump event on Saturday. None of Fox nor anyone else did. What is your point?

DP. Trump-related news is ALL OVER the front page of CNN.com. The PP is absolutely right.
https://www.cnn.com/

Clicked in it. Nothing but condo collapse and nothing about Trump, unless I just didn't scroll down a few pages.

Click on the cnn link and see for yourself.

Right, nothing at all about Trump. From that link:

Just clicked it, nothing at all about Trump now.

No one cares as much as all these people think, in their FOX bubble.

There is an article about the weather on July 4th though. Things that are not important.

Are you being deliberately obtuse or are you actually just obtuse? Every one of those links was listed on the CNN home page - today. You can continue pretending CNN doesn’t need Trump to prop up their flagging viewership, but you just look asinine.

Why does it matter what’s on CNN? This thread is about Fox.

+1

And who are these people who don’t understand that the internet doesn’t look the same for everyone? There were three “Trump” threads (and they were only incidentally about him). My homepage doesn’t look like your homepage. I’m guessing that that PP who had so many Trump threads is a Trump obsessive and their web history and cookies reflect that.

But back to Fox “News.” These were the top three “headlines” on Fox when I clicked over to see what nonsense they’re peddling. I cannot believe that Fox’s supporters claim that the channel provides “news” without bias. You guys. This is not how “news” is conveyed. This is how your mind gets warped and you don’t realize it’s happened. This is why millions of Americans are Fox orphans.

I am just curious if the people lambasting media matters are disputing the contents of the tweets, which are a matter of public record?

Are you claiming there is no Trump news to report and it's just random CNN obsessing over old news? I'd say that's wrong.

a.) Trump is campaigning for a 2024 run and is trying to rally support for that run (item 4). It's funny because normally you whine claiming that CNN isn't giving him enough campaign coverage.
and
b.) there are active prosecutions and other things underway which are current news (the other news items).

Media matters routinely exposes lies and controversial things from FOX News pundits and others. They provide the actual video, the tweets et cetera. It's all fact-based and thus difficult for the right to dispute. And when the right can't attack the message they instead attack the messenger as if that were somehow a valid rebuttal, which it isn't.

Trump just held a campaign rally in Wellington Ohio. That's current news and most of the links on CNN's current homepage are about that Ohio rally. So I don't get what the PP is whining about by posting CNN links referencing that rally.

Why still pay for it if you aren't watching it?

Doesn't fox have a higher viewership than cnn?

Yes. CNN has tanked in the past few months. MSNBC is not doing much better.
Cable providers know their audiences. They are not going to drop Fox.

Yes, that was already explained above. Please keep up.

Hit a nerve, I see.

No, I see you still don't understand the explanation. It's that rather than watching FOX News and only FOX News, liberals get their news from a wide variety of sources.

Take 20 conservatives, 17 of them will almost exclusively get their news from FOX, because they've been taught that everything else is "fake news"
Take 20 liberals, and 20 of them will get some of their news from CNN, some of their news from ABC, some of their news from NBC, or CBS, Bloomberg, or PBS, or any number of news sources. There are also some liberals who watch FOX News for balance and to understand what the other side is saying - though that is NOT the case for conservatives as I constantly see "you won't see this on MSM" when in fact it is being talked about on MSM too - most conservatives at this point have absolutely no clue what's ACTUALLY on non-conservative news because they've been indoctrinated in a belief that it's all "fake news"

Bottom line is that the news market for liberals is far more fragmented and liberal viewers have far less mindless channel loyalty than conservative viewers do.

Get it now?

DP. This is one of the most ridiculous, non-evidence supported bunch of BS ever to be pulled from a liberal’s butt. I’m a moderate conservative who never watches Fox (or CNN), but I do read widely - the WSJ, Economist, NYT, among others. You just wrote an an entire paragraph full of nothing but your own claims and biased opinions about conservatives. Maybe stick to what you DO know which is your own habits - and not those of millions of other people.

Nope, that's based on numerous surveys of media consumption that show news media is far more fragmented on the left. For example Pew survey that showed 47% of conservatives use FOX as their primary news source whereas liberals are far more likely to use an array of media sources. For example only 13% would cite CNN as their primary news source, very much contrary to the conservative mythology/projection that liberals all get their news from CNN.

And here you've wrongly accused me of completely pulling my comment out of my ass and demonstrated your gross ignorance of political polarization and left vs right news media consumption habits.

Are you seriously citing liberals watching CNN, NPR, NYT and MSNBC as getting their news from a variety of sources? LMAO

The issue with MMFA is that they are a nonprofit that targets only Fox News and totally ignores the lies and disinformation of networks that act as the arm of the DNC.

So? The right wing ALSO has non-profits like Media Research Center (funded by the Mercers) that ONLY target CNN and "liberal media" and completely ignores the lies and disinformation of FOX News, OAN, Newsmax and right wing media.

You obviously didn't follow the thread. I also said some liberals even watch FOX News to understand what the other side is saying.

They don’t even care; they just don’t approve of dissent.
