Jennifer Garner: What did she see in Ben Affleck?

Exactly. That’s when he noticed her.
Jennifer lopez is beautiful ( although a couple of the more recent candid shots I’ve seen do show that she is a mere mortal)
But so is Jennifer Garner. It seemed obvious that he was going after the beautiful girl next door, that you marry.
Jlo is the exciting ex that you don’t settle down with.

I always suspected he has a Madonna/wh*re complex. His dating history is basically proof of that.

What is that complex? Never heard of it...a guy can't decide if he wants the "innocent" or "bad" partner?

Basically this. People forget Ben was like her second or third husband. She wanted Celebrity power couple status at the time Ben was one of the most eligible bachelors.

Why is she perceived as a good girl?

No one is perfect. She acts, looks, and dresses in a wholesome manner; and she spends lots of quality time with her kids. Now that she has children, she doesn't act like a teenager. She doesn't bring multiple men into her kids' lives or stay away from them and shack up with ex boyfriends.

Yes, you have repeatedly and in different threads posted about your petty hate for Jennifer Lopez, who had her kids in wedlock and didn’t stay married to someone who repeatedly and openly banged other women during their marriage. Of course, Lopez also didn’t parade her kids in front of every paparazzo in SoCal for a solid decade so, yeah good mom prize goes to Garner!

PP here. First of all, I don't hate Jennifer Lopez. I think she's beautiful, talented, and has accomplished a great deal. Secondly, I didn't mention her name.

Please. Don’t throw rocks and hide your hand. The good girl acted hood AF and as page 1 pp put it, baby trapped an addict bad-boy star she’d never have really landed. That’s what she saw in him, apparently - worlds greatest dad, to answer the original question.

To be blunt it's because she's white, She's sort of a plain jane, not a flash dresser and her ex is such a mess people look at her as a saint. many white suburban wives/moms identify with her.

Affleck 100% pursued Garner. They both have said as much. I don't know why you think she wouldn't have "landed" him.

My sister! Truth and nothing but. I get tired of the narrative regarding Ben and his two Jens.

Also, “not a flash dresser” is the phrase that pays. Jen G has shoes ugly enough to grant her honorary Beauty and Fashion, DCUM status.

I don't know why you're saying I've expressed hatred for Jennifer Lopez on multiple threads. Not true, but you can think what you want. G' night.
