A lot of insecure short women posters on this thread.

There’s a lot of insecure tall posters on here too. I’m 5’8 and feel like a giant in heels so I agree with the posters who said a very tall woman (5’11 and above) can look more masculine.

Short women did not look good with knee length dresses but actually looked great with the full length gown (zoe kravitz) or very short dresses (Reese).

what?! No. These two are over 6 ft tall and smoking. Super feminine.

Well...they were chosen among tall women because they look super feminine. You make it sound like every tall woman looks like a model. Most simply don't.

+1

She looks fantastic in a pixie! The only other celeb who looks equally good in one is Natalie Portman.

Oh actually, also Halle Berry.

And Winona R, Angela B, Michelle W, Charlize T, Rihanna, Natalie P, Keira K, Carey M

Do you mean Michelle Williams? I thought short hair looked terrible on her. Winona Ryder sort of pulled it off because she has a quirky look. Michelle just looks suburban. Zoe, Halle, and Natalie are beauties.

To each their own. I think both Williams and Ryder are gorgeous with pixie cuts. Williams' face is ideal for short hair.

It’s “heels”. How do people not know how to spell this very simple word?

This.

Deal with it.

Agree.
I never imagined anyone would not want to be as tall as possible. Like at least 5ft 8in for a woman. That's the dream. I always felt sorry for short woman.

Only if you are also beautiful and slender. If you’re not, then you’ve got man hands and big feet.

Stop being an asshole. People make spelling/typing errors all the time. It's DCUM, not a WH press release.

Sorry, grammar police - it's not us, it's our autocorrect smart phones

Voice-to-text, autocorrect, fast typing, dyslexia. There are many reasons people make spelling errors. Calling people illiterate proves you're an asshole.

If you go around celebs you realize most of them are short and shrimpy. I will say I was surprised by some female celebs that I assumed were taller because of how short their male costars are. I had thought Margot Robbie was very tall, like 5'9 range, but she's around 5'5. Seeing how petite she was in person made me realize how small most of the Hollywood men are

What makes that particular group look wild is that there is nobody in the middle - they are all either really short or really tall. If that group were mixed in with a lot of 5'5" to 5'8" women, the differences wouldn't look quite so striking.

Sorry but a 5'11'' woman is like 99th percentile in height, they stand out a mile a way. The average female height in the US is 5' 3.5"

I have a friend who is 6 feet tall and she seems to have no clue how unusual that is, and how much of a role it plays in many of her social interactions.

Yes, it's because we're supposed to look at the clothes, not them. They're coat hangers. Supermodels often have straight boy shapes too. Designers don't like hips and breasts.

My friend who is tall was told by her very tall brothers that she would never find a man who wanted her because men hate tall women. Both her brothers are married to short women and sadly my friend has had issues finding a man.

I do think, being an average height woman, that men prefer short girls.
