If you are a non-abusive cop, what piece of this legislation is offensive or frightening?
With specifics, please. |
If you're a law-abiding citizen, no worries. |
Philando Castile John Crawford III Just for starters... |
Who keeps voting for the psychopath union leaders? The cops. |
IDK. I mean, I've seen this actually happen with neo-Nazis and the GOP. But I don't know any Marxists. |
+1 AND expect people to obey laws and not engage in criminal behavior. |
Exactly. He doesn't get to shoot someone for stealing a car (that wasn't even his!) plus the footage of him brandishing a gun earlier this year at a homeless woman in the lobby of the building - this dude was itching for the opportunity to shoot someone. |
What should the protocol be for stopping car thieves who are repeat criminals? |
Every bad cop is covered for by all the cops around him. Those cops don't get a pass because they themselves did not do the bad thing. I should not be surprised by this thinking. You are the same person who thinks that if you didn't say or do the racist thing, you were just in the room and sat silently while it happened, that you aren't also part of the problem. We are doomed. |
Summary execution, I guess. |
See here's another low quality candidate to protect and serve all of us. |

Here's what happens when cops aren't accountable...

Are you someone who thinks arresting and releasing is appropriate? Maybe just give them the car? |
Well, the Takoma Park chief of police says that, when you see someone who you think is stealing a car, the protocol should be: call 911. So I'll go with that. |
I think the criminal justice system, while imperfect in many ways, is superior to giving cops a license to shoot nonviolent offenders on sight. I think most Americans would agree. |
