DP. I was like this! 5'4 and about 115 and reeally soft. I'm now about 125 but body comp is WAY better. This is a great example. Body on the left is the lightest, on the right the heaviest.

Scratch that, not the lightest by weight, but a great example of the number on the scale not necessarily meaning much. |
Eh, don't believe everything you see on the internet. I don't believe those pictures give accurate weights. Definitely fudged to make a point |
Even if they do, the picture on the left still shows a slim woman. She's not "packing a round gut" by any stretch. She has less muscle than the image on the right, but overall still looks way more fit than most Americans. |

The picture on the right is most zoomed out.

Yuck, no |
| FWIW my stomach has flattened and I lost weight when I switched to steady state low heart rate cardio. Keeps your body using fat instead of sugar for energy. I am really surprised because I did not have a lot to lose and am in my late 30’s. Also lift weights, which helps but the change came from switching from running to fast walking. |
| I have embraced my body. I try, but it's a no go. |
Where did you keep your heart rate? Under 140? I’ve been reading about this. |
| Yes, but I think DH preferred the mombod. |
It’s Kelsey Wells who has a couple workouts on the Sweat App. Her diet and fitness routine is well documented on IG. |
What do you do for cardio? |
It sounds like she does fast walking for cardio. I just lost a decent amount of weight with walking as my primary exercise. If you cover a good number of vertical feet and keep a good pace, it can burn fat and get your HR up. (I usually do four miles and then jog another half mile). |
I do a lot of cardio but it tends to be high intensity. My heart rate will be 135-180 during the workout. So it varies a bit. I track on Apple Watch and I never burn as many calories in a 30 minute walk vs. 30 minutes of HIIT. |
How long is your workout? 1.5 hours? I’d like to start |
