When guys date younger women in your experience are they really dating their maturity age?

I'm a man in my early 60s who only dates women in their 40s. There is no reason to overly complicate this. All you got to do is read this board to know what happens to women as they age. Most of them after menopause have no interest in sex.

Lol @ all the jilted middle aged women on this thread.

Younger women: look better, more sex, more fun, capable of gratitude, less baggage/resentment. Not complicated.

Hey Peter pan! Your accordion lined face is showing as your aging balls drag on.

Everytime I go to the doctor the nurses and docs say they would slice off at least 10 off my age. Im 39. 24 yr old coworkers said I am their age. However the thought of dating a 20 something or an 18 yr old which I could. Many kid boys are open and more attractive with PhD or masters their age always shows in their mannerisms and its highly annoying. Great sex won't help me with that. The naive stupid 20 something yr old girls haven't experienced tragedy loss sadness etc because life can be miserable and there is a reason why animals are loved more than people sometimes. Older men just want a dummy who sleeps around. A bimbo.

Why is a 60yo man on a mommy parenting board??!?

The thought of my 20 year old DD going out with a 45 year old makes me so sad. Also wouldn’t a much older man be self conscious of his ageing body? I know people say men don’t care but the contrast between a woman so much younger would be stark.

dating - okay I can see that, but it's a shallow lifestyle

real love and marriage with some unemployed worshipful bikini model on Tinder who is 15+ years younger? With those kinds of situations, there is always money involved. A hot body/sex and possibly worshipful demeanor is traded for the man's financial status. I doubt either party in such matches cares. Nonetheless it shows how many men with power view women and their worth. The women's lot in life is to prop up this older guys ego and "please" him for decades. That isn't a true loving marriage - a partnership where each helps the other become the best person they can be and contribute to their talents to the world. The transactional age gap relationships are revealing and gross.

Good question that deserves an answer. As I've said before, I come here for constant reminders to myself to never get married again.

My GF gets so turned on by my elongated sack. It used to make me self conscious but she CA t get enough. She loves to wrap her hand around it and give it a tug.

You sound very judgmental. If you've never been in such a relationship, how would you even know what its like?

I’m 42 and have dated as young as 21. They have all told me I’m kinder to the and treat them better than the guys they’re used to dating.

And to the other PP, they are not unemployed, worshipful or bikini models.

Please do share an example of an unemployed or poor 55 year old dating and then marrying a well-educated, professionally successful, and attractive 38 year old.

The transactional set up is the norm, and what it suggests about our culture is disturbing.

I have no doubt people in those relationships feel the euphoria of love - patriarchy does that to people. Still gross.

I'm not the PP but I'm here in part because this is the board that encouraged my ex-wife to get divorced and play dirty in the divorce. Now she's fat and alone, and I'm banging 25 year olds.

What a bizarre thread, completely driven by insecurity.

I am a 45 year old married mad so it doesn't affect me, but who cares? I mean, I guess it depends on how big an age gap, but a 40s man with a 20s woman is just like - good for him. It's dating, isn't dating all about fun and sex? If he can get someone who - all else being equal - is hotter and has more sexual energy - good for him. As long as she is a full functioning adult, which women are in their 20s, then great for them. She obviously getting something out of it too, and if its financial security, then why would he care? He would provide that anyway to any woman.

There is a breaking point. I have a friend who is 66 and married to a 23 year old from the Philippines. It's freaking creepy, but she did get her whole family over through him, so there's that.

You sound insecure.

The age gap is irrelevant per your point. You could say the same about a wealthy but not terribly attractive man with an attractive SAHM. Transactional to you or ok if they are within a decade of each other?

Men are attracted to beauty, women to status and power, always has been and always will be. Yes there are exceptions, but check the threads here - what's more common? Women complaining that their man isn't great in bed or that he doesn't earn enough, isn't motivated, doesn't provide?

It's usually a transnational pairing at any age.
