We get whole beans from boutique roasters, grind every morning, and make a pot in our drip machine. Husband drinks it black and bean quality really matters to him. |
We have a Jura Z8 and use Illy coffee beans in it. I absolutely love it. Bought it when DH started working from home. |
Folgers I think. Half caf, half decaf. |
And I make $75K as a teacher. Single parent. |
Forgot HHI part of question. Well north of $3MM. |
$350-$400K. We get whole beans delivered from a range of boutique roasters through 2 different services. Usually make a 12 cup pot in our drip machine every morning. Once in awhile get beans more suitable to espresso style coffee and make it in an Italian moka on the stove top.
I also get an iced mocha or other iced flavored espresso-based coffee most mornings. |

Currently.....cold brew. Either Chameleon vanilla or La Colombe Light Roast. We also an assortment of other devices (grinder, espresso, french press, etc.) but prefer the smoothness of cold brew. We were also on a dalgano kick for a while back in the early pandemic. |
I made 36 million last year. I drink McDonalds K cups. |
But you also have a man that does NOTHING but maintain the Keurig machine! |

I drink Lifeboost - need a low acid coffee and I've found the Lifeboost medium roast to be the best tasting and doesn't aggravate my stomach. |
500K Nespresso |
$300k. Wegmans store brand K-cups (medium roast.)
Never by coffee out unless a friend asks to meet at a coffee shop. |
Well-off.I'll drink any kind of coffee...unbranded, gas station, crap I should have thrown out. |
$150-west coast, a bit lower cost of living area
Locally wood roasted small batch beans delivered to my door in my oxo drip. Or Starbucks. Depends on the day. |
450-500K HHI. We are coffee snobs - we buy artisanal small batch whole beans every week so they are super fresh. Grind them every morning with a burr grinder and brew in a Bonavita drip machine for convenience (my spouse prefers Aeropress or pourover). We both drink it black.
(I feel compelled to note that we do most of our grocery shopping at Aldi and we are not snobs about most other things!!) |
