Who killed Jonbenet? ABC2020

The one element that stood out to me was the undisturbed cobwebs around the basement window which is the only egress. Hence no one ingressed or egressed the basement window. Also, no footprints seen in the snow that covers the entry point to the window.

Also, here’s John Ramsey’s trail of interviews which I find interesting….

In his interviews with police in 97’ and 98’, John says he doesn’t really know why he didn’t alert police to the broken window. But, on national television, he said he did tell law enforcement about the window on the morning of the 26th.

1997:

THOMAS: And you mentioned when you went down in the morning, the 26th, and it was unlatched, did that strike you as odd or did you bring that to anybody’s attention?

JOHN: I, I don’t know. I mean when I was, I think, yeah, I think it probably struck me as a little odd, but it wasn’t, I mean sometimes that window would be open because the basement got hot, or one of those windows would be opened. So it wasn’t . . .

THOMAS: Particularly unusual?

JOHN: It was dramatically out of the ordinary, but, that is, I thought about it.

1998:

LOU SMIT: Did you tell anybody about that?

JOHN RAMSEY: I don't really remember. I mean, part of what is going on you're in such a state of disbelief this can even happen. And the, you know, the window had been broken out. And you say hah, that's it. But it was a window that I had used to get into the house before. It was cracked and open a little bit. It wasn't terribly unusual for me. Sometimes it would get opened to let cool air in because that basement could get real hot in winter. So it was like, you know, after I thought about it, I thought it was more of an alarming situation how it struck me at the time. It was still sort of explainable to me that it could have been left open.

1999

From NBC Today show:

JOHN RAMSEY: We had a basement window that was under a grate, a removable grate that I had used the past summer to get into the house when I'd lost my keys. I wanted to check that window. I went down to that room. The window was open. It was broken. I went back upstairs and reported that to Detective Arndt.

COURIC: You did tell her about the...

JOHN RAMSEY: YES

COURIC:...open window?

JOHN RAMSEY: I did.

COURIC: And what did she say?

JOHN RAMSEY: I don't recall that she said anything

For 500k (my poor mans budget), I'd move in without a second thought.

There was a recent article about a handwriting "expert" claiming the ransom note matched a pedophile who claimed responsibility for this crime. However, not explanation for the fact that the writer knew the exact amount of John Ramsey's bonus that year.

I'd even add candy canes to line the walk at Christmas time.

And no sign of entry or exit?

I feel sorry for Burke Ramsey. He was 9 years old and he DID NOT kill his little sister, but slimy people will say he did for the rest of his life, no doubt.

Oh, man! Sick joke.

I think it's an ugly house but looks better than when they lived there. I remember those videos of Patsy and her kids at Christmas with all the over the top decor, etc. Always got the vibe she wanted people to be envious of her. It's a McMansion, bleh.

I think she did it and staged the cover up. John believed her and went along with it. She had a creepy vibe, was sick and stressed out from being a perfectionist and being the Joneses to keep up with.

It was a family member, the question is which one.

The ransom note was absolutely written by Patsy.

Yes, no question. I think she did it all while husband and son slept.

I agree. I feel like people who say that are people who don’t know any 9 year olds ( so don’t realize they are still quite babyish.)

+1 But was she covering for herself, John, or Burke.

I am incredibly creeped out by the framed christening dress (???) on picture 26.
