Big 3 (or thereabouts) College Results - Class of 2021

I’m sure they can figure it out. The college counselor writes a letter and they have class ranking and everything else in the application packet and interviews.

The STA list doesn't look that different from lists at other schools except that it doesn't say how many kids have enrolled at these schools in the past 5 years. According to you, about 80 kids from STA have enrolled at Ivies in the past 5 years (20% of class). If that's true, STA should publish that info. I think people would want to know. I wonder why they don't...

Because it’s not any of your business. They publish exact numbers every year in the alumni magazine.

Every STA parent is given the exact list every year in the school magazine and I think the majority of parents are pleased with the options their kids will have when they graduate.

I think the issue isn't URM, or recruited athletes or donor families, those can come from public too. It is the issue of legacy. I think it is telling how many students get into MIT, if any, as MIT does not use legacy as an element of consideration within their admissions.

that's right - it's a requirement that all alums of top colleges send their kids to private schools. We're not allowed to send our kids to public school, so no legacy admits there . . .
