Family of four kids
Brothers born a year apart - Hunter and Forest. Boy/girl twins - autumn and Austin. |
| Sisters 2 years apart : Summer and Autumn. |
Michelle is the feminine form of Michael so it’s basically like they gave their kids the same name. My husband is a Michael with a sister Michelle and one of my first comments to him when I learned his sister’s name was “why did your parents give you the same name?” |

Paul and Paula
Rachel and Leah (biblical sisters with a lot of drama) |
| Elizabeth and Isabel. I can't judge too much -- you probably wouldn't know they're the same name if you didn't speak Spanish -- but as someone who does speak Spanish, it's always just...funny...to me that they have the exact same name! |
In the same vein, I used to babysit (in high school) for a family with siblings named Stephen and Stephanie. I grew up with identical twins Cheryl and Chana, pronounced like Sheryl and Shawna. |
When I was a kid I had karate classes with Keith, Kevin, Kyle, and Kris. All boys, all a year apart from each other. There was a fifth brother, also k name, but he was a baby so I never had occasion to learn what it was. For the older/50s style twin contribution, I knew a Bernard and Bernadette. Really nice folks. |

La'tasha and Na'tasha
A'ysha (Asia) and Phazia (like Asia with an F) |
I’ve met siblings named Eduardo and Maria Eduarda. Also, Marianna, Marina and Marissa. |
I grew up with next door neighbors -sisters, Elizabeth and Lisa. Lisa orginated as a "short form" /nickname of Elizabeth or Elisabeth. |
| Blaine and Blair. Boys. I knew them in college. |
| Ernestine and Phyllistine. Really. |
Phyllistine. Wow. Phyllis would have been (relatively) ok but wow. |
