S/O: real life “no they didn’t” twin names

Anonymous
My SIL gave her twins rhyming nicknames, I won’t share them here since they are in the area. Let’s say it’s the equivalent of Sandy and Mandy. Or Cora and Lora. One of the nicknames doesn’t use the conventional spelling so it can be exactly the same as the other twin (except the first letter). She dresses them the same and at every family gathering asks us to guess which twin is which. OMG! I can’t wait for them to start really talking so they can tell their mom they want to be their own people.

Can you get that memo to my SIL?? (I’m the PP.).

Billy & Betty but their real names were William and Elizabeth, so not so bad really.

Alejandro and Alexander

These (identical, I think) twin brothers were friends with my kid in middle school.

Jack and Jake, fraternal twins. Very confusing for extended family, really seems like the same name, especially for the older relatives.

This is my yearly thread contribution where I share that when I was in grade school I knew a Teddy who allegedly had a twin named Teddy.

I also knew a family who had 4 boys, one set of twins, and their names were something like Justin, Preston, Austin, and Dustin. It was a lot.

I taught twins named Terry and Terrance after their father (they were also the most identical I've ever seen, it was SO hard to tell them apart)
