Why do lower class men prefer more voluptuous women?

Man, you Peloton people will slide in at any opportunity to advertise, won’t you?

Up next : my DH won’t ride me like a Peloton.

This made me laugh loud

If you think the Peloton advertisements are bad here, you should slide over to the Diet and Exercise thread. It's incessant over there

Maybe because a thin girl was always an option, so curvy girls were like a special treat. But as I've approached middle age many of those girls are starting to migrate toward just having one curve. So I now find myself preferring the thinner ones.

Most men prefer a woman with curves. But as women get older, curves are harder to maintain. As the the curvier women get older, it is harder to keep the curves from spreading to other places.

So even though the stick figure is not necessarily ideal, it's more risk adverse for men who do not appreciate overweight women.

Lower class men are looking for ideal now, not later.

Some men get the best of both worlds by finding a curvy woman who loves the /exercise/gym even when she does not need it(younger). She is more likely to maintain her curves than women her age who don't work out and don't have to worry about weight until they are older

I think you just gave us all a window into your psychology, not "men." in general. You may be unaware so here's a reminder: Men's bodies also change, the thickness of their hair, a major source of attraction for many women, changes (some lose all of theirs) and sometimes their mood and temperaments become significantly altered (ie angrier and more unpleasant). A certain portion reveal themselves to be incapable of fidelity, which was promised in the beginning and is far more unattractive than increasing curves, in them or in us. So spare us the soliloquy on curvy women. You sound like a limited bore.

Lmao at trying to explain this away with "lower class". I've seen plenty of "upper class" men go straight for the so-called "stick figure" (which is fat woman code for someone who actually cares about her fitness) as soon as his so-called curvy wife starts consolidating her curves.

This might be the dumbest explanation I've seen. From a former "curvy" DW no doubt.

It's all in the waist to hip ratio. Ideal is .7 Once you hit that ratio the actual size/weight is personal preference

24/34 vs 28/40

Who cares what broke dudes like. Women want men with money what do THEY like?

If you see a " higher class" white man married to a very fat woman do you think he has low self esteem?

My friend's brother does very well for himself. He's got dark hair, blue eyes, 6'3 drives a tesla and lives in a 7k sq ft house in California. His wife is super morbidly obese. They seem happy, travel often etc.

Fat fetish

You don't marry a fat fetish.

Why are you so offended? It's a discussion.

What has infidelity got to do with all of this? I am confused.

In my MC/UMC circle, all of my DH's friends have settled down with a woman who has curves. No one is "overweight" but they are thin and have large boobs and a butt. One of the girls gained a lot of weight after her pregnancy and her husband cheated on her saying he was not attracted to his fat wife anymore.

No one I know is married to a super skinny stick figure. These are all curvy women who are in shape.

she didn't start out that way. She was slim when they got married.

Offended because women are being reduced to their size i think and moreso, a standard of the "right curviness" as if over time it remains solely a choice. It is hard to age. It is harder still when you realize your body really is unlikely to look 25 when you are 55. Even if you do a lot right. Women feel shitty about this as it is, why fuel this mentality that there is one type of body that is sexy? The suggestion too that a man is supposed to choose a skinny type in his twenties because they age better and he fears she will gain if too curvy is bizarre. So you won't marry a woman you deeply love because she might gain weight over 25 years? Ok. This does not ring true with anything i see in real life but to each his own.
