I used to prefer women with more curves when I was younger and most of the girls I knew were thin. Maybe because a thin girl was always an option, so curvy girls were like a special treat. But as I've approached middle age many of those girls are starting to migrate toward just having one curve. So I now find myself preferring the thinner ones.
Most men prefer a woman with curves. But as women get older, curves are harder to maintain. As the the curvier women get older, it is harder to keep the curves from spreading to other places. So even though the stick figure is not necessarily ideal, it's more risk adverse for men who do not appreciate overweight women. Lower class men are looking for ideal now, not later. Some men get the best of both worlds by finding a curvy woman who loves the /exercise/gym even when she does not need it(younger). She is more likely to maintain her curves than women her age who don't work out and don't have to worry about weight until they are older
I think you just gave us all a window into your psychology, not "men." in general. You may be unaware so here's a reminder: Men's bodies also change, the thickness of their hair, a major source of attraction for many women, changes (some lose all of theirs) and sometimes their mood and temperaments become significantly altered (ie angrier and more unpleasant). A certain portion reveal themselves to be incapable of fidelity, which was promised in the beginning and is far more unattractive than increasing curves, in them or in us. So spare us the soliloquy on curvy women. You sound like a limited bore.
