DeVos did publicly single out FCPS, possibly putting a target on our kids' backs. |
Too close to election time. I smell a rat. |
What if we had spent billions on cybersecurity instead of a wall? |
Unless the hackers tapped into the system that helps image thousands of laptops handed out to kids across the county. Could help create quite the botnet to launch a DDoS attack. |
People posting behind anonymous cover. I wish this site is not allowing this. Too easy. Maybe half these posting are troll (or bot). Including this post as this is anonymous too! ........ |

Awesome system architecture - wasn’t the point of moving to blackboard’s cloud to avoid bottlenecks and server issues? |
We have spend billions on cybersecurity. Please keep up. |

So- we gave up a of info- love how fcps pushes this info when they are not available. NOT |
This really happened. The article came out Thursday. The real question is when did the ransomware hit and when did the school find out? That determines how much data was leaked. I feel so bad for the teachers, students and parents right now. |
So if it is not a lack of resources then it must be mismanagement by the answerable federal leaders: Wolf, Ratcliffe, Esper, etc. Please conjugate. |
Is it FCPS servers that were attacked? Or BBC? If FCPS only, know the info being taken is bad, but means kids can still go and use all the school programs right because those are other companies, right? So not like those cannot or should not be used? |
